Lots of managers get sacked with the form Gabby has...there again we were there last season. Out of money to pay him off? Cup wins have perhaps kept him in charge. Thankfully we wont go down with a handful of much poorer teams and only 1 relegated from league 2.

Exactly. We are still in FAC and two wins away from.a possible payday.
Otherwise what it the benefit of firing him now. A new manager will have little opportunity to reshape the squad before the summer.
We seem to have a big squad, half of whom never seem to be seen in a red shirt. The position with Van Velzen and Boadu seems to be a replica of the Moussa Sanoh situation.....spent his entire Crawley career getting match fit.

Or Meite. Or German. The list is endless. The theme is common. All signed by Selim, and no doubt not fancied by the manager

Are you suggesting that we shouldn’t sack Cioffi because we haven’t been knocked out the FAC so far 😂

No....just that I don't think a new manager at this point would make a difference. They would just be stuck with the same players. We are not going up or down so why waste money paying him off.
My point about the FAC is that if we beat Scunthorpe, and get a good draw in R2, then we could make some cash. If we did that, and got say Chelsea away in R3, you can be sure that all the Cioffi out chaps will be jostling for their tickets and we will suddenly find another 5,000 supporters who haven't missed a game in 10 years.
After recent performances and results I'm not even optimistic that we can beat Scunthorpe, getting to the third round under this manager would take a massive effort. However I'm more concerned about our league position, sliding down the table again, under this manager i don't see much improvement, his win record is very poor, Time for a change id say.
What we have to do is stop signing so many non-league players because we will only end up there because the players are just not L2 standard and that coupled with the manager we have adds up to relegation. I know people will say well we are hoping to find a gem and then sell him on for mega bucks but they are rarer than rocking horse s**t. What we need is a manager who has different options i.e. plans A,B and C and who does not push out any player who has an opinion.
