What we have to do is stop signing so many non-league players because we will only end up there because the players are just not L2 standard and that coupled with the manager we have adds up to relegation. I know people will say well we are hoping to find a gem and then sell him on for mega bucks but they are rarer than rocking horse s**t. What we need is a manager who has different options i.e. plans A,B and C and who does not push out any player who has an opinion.

Couldn't disagree more this is the best squad we have had for years get a manager in who knows how to get the most out of younger players and we would be pushing for the playoffs

Agree - The Italian has signed this group of Non League players and had a pre- season, yet still can’t motivate his Team.
Luckily, only one team goes down this season and that just may be his saving grace, IF there is one team worse than Crawley Town.

I can't agree; they were clearly motivated yesterday, John. And just as clearly gutted with the result.
Our run of form (and luck) needs to be addressed, but unusually for me, I feel reasonably positive at the moment.

In the Italian I trust. For now at least
Finally a comment I can actually agree with on this forum, I can’t understand how we have so many Cioffi haters no matter what he does. I was proud of our performance yesterday and the players need to take responsibility for the errors leading to the goals which is exactly what Bez said to us after the game yesterday. I remember times when the Swindon esque performances were the norm but yet people were still willing to give the respective managers a chance. We’re a lot closer to being a promotion pushing side now than we have been for the last 4 or 5 years. I’d rather us all be moaning/discussing team selection rather than talking about really ugly no hope football that won’t get people through the turnstile. I for one have enjoyed more games under Cioffi than any other manager in the past 4 or 5 years.

May be what the club needs to do is send Cioffi on some motivation courses because at the moment we don't know how the team is going to play one week cold the next hot they need to be more consistent.

Most successful teams have a mix of youth and experience. For years we have relied on the 'experience' and it didn't work. Personally I'd rather try youth a bit.
The caveat is at a club of this size you have to sign players of sufficient quality that they are ready to compete for a starting place. The model of having lots of players out on loan may work in the Premier League but not at our level.
