It's a disappointing result and everyone is right to call a spade a spade and say it's not good enough, but we're only 2 games into the season! We can still bounce back.
well that wasn't very good. Pretty even until Cheltenham scored, then they dominated until about 60 minutes. We had a good 10 minute spell but Cheltenham then comfortably saw out the last 10 minutes or so.
The goal was a poor one to concede, a free header six yards out, from a cross that should have been prevented.
Camara look lively when he came on, he really ought to start the next game. I thought Randall had a good game, and Young looked quite dangerous until we went one down. TV was poor, as was Payne. Connolly did OK, and Enzio flickered occasionally. Not much to say about the rest
No idea why Cox and McNernery were not in the squad, I hope they were injured.
At this rate it is going to be a long tough season.........
Let's not panic just yet.We can't really know how the season will pan out after just two league games.Ill be keen to hear from those that went how we played.Im hoping it's encouraging as the BBC stats looked ok.In fairness to Harry Kewell we need to give him 12 matches to see what he can do.Even then it's early days, but hopefully he'll have us out of first gear and making progress. Not saying our poor start is acceptable, but the manager has to be given time to bed in and find the system and starting 11 that suits us best.
As others have said Kewells in ability to articulate anything to do with football, sets off all sorts of alarm bells. If he is such a poor communicator how does he get stuff over to the players.
I accept it's to early to sack him but I just don't see this ending well for Crawley Town.

excellent point made how does a half baked brain of a manager communicate his dreams to a bunch of misfits half assembled by previous clowns? All the signs are exactly what earlier post said fireworks etc.
This is laughable that after three games people are dumping all the negatives onto HK....it is so so easy to be negative. You may all be right that he won't last long but let's base that thought on lot of evidence not building a case on a few facts..!,
We started with 5-4-1 ( with Payne appearing to be the middle of the back three ) before switching to 4-4-2 when Harrold replaced Payne.
Thanks - Harry seems wedded to this system but I didn't think it suited what PV were doing certainly with just one up front. Hope we see him try different systems and tactics at the start rather than have a one size fits all approach
Well I went to Cheltenham and thought that the team played OK. Very little difference between the two teams, just the couple of seconds it took for their goal. Crawley created plenty of half chances which could easily have gone in.
