Sign him up now! But its riddiculous allowing such young players to play with players much older physically stronger mentally stronger...id go as far as saying its morally wrong.
thankfully fa rules and our way of going about things doesnt lean towards exploiting children.
Are you for real he was playing in an U16 game so he was eligible my sister was 12 and was swimming against U17s for her club why? because she has no competition in the south east at her age groups its hardly exploitation more of an education

someone clearly doesn't understand why i wrote what i did, you know nothing about the kid do you? and if you did you would understand why he played in an U16 game.
Out of interest were you not allowed to play football or any sport with older kids?
We used to have football matches between all 4 senior years including tournaments so that was ages 13, 14, 15 and 16 with the odd 17 yo so no difference here, i wonder if you were simply not good enough to get picked for your school team and their is a hint of resentment in your postings?

you clearly have no understand child welfare in Poland theres proper respect and its improving in uk but ignorance ignoring protecting children doesnt help. I boxed and ran more than played football but thats irrelevant.
With respect you know nothing about this lad and what he is capable of, this is not a child welfare issue, do you really think his club or parents would allow him to play if it was not in the lads interests ... of course they wouldn't
Your hiding behind this child welfare argument as you wasn't much cope at sport as a child just accept he is a class act and move on to your next moaning post.

my ability to box in Poland and play football in uk has nothing do with this. Why you think fa had respect campaign? As parents put their interests on kids doing what they want on pitch. Really you need think before you type.

Unfortunately I see a lot of parents and coaches that sacrifice child welfare for their own dreams and agenda, so I'm afraid that there are numerous examples of "allowing" a player to play up when it's not in their best interest.
However, I do believe that not all players are born equal (physically) and it's quite possible for some children to play up beyond their age group. Whilst 12 to 16 is a leap, for example; my son who plays academy and for England Private Schools was 13 on Sunday and is currently 5'10". He plays up a year at club level. In international football where they go by calendar year and not school year (as the UK and USA do) he is regularly playing boys 9 months older than him. He still, on most occasions, the biggest boy on the pitch. It's conceivable that as he already plays against 14 year olds he could manage to play against 15 year olds. As four days ago he was only 12 then that gives you the leap that we're talking about with this guy.
I would also add that at the Youth World Cup this year Italy had a boy who was born in 2004 who was 6'1"...!!!

I think youve made reasoned arguments here i would like to add there is an emotional development as well as physical development. Both need consideration when playing up.
