Lynch should have replaced Craig. TC was all over the place his positional sense is awful. We got lucky. They missed a sitter and the ref missed his glasses when 2 Red Devils collided and he gave us the FK. LMAO. 2 points chucked away FFS Walsall are nothing special. We sit dangerously near the drop. Sort it out Yems. Bet your school reports all read "must try harder".
I couldn't go to the game as have been busy with work but that wasn't a bad result considering the build up to the game wasn't ideal by all accounts
Who were the best players out there? Hopefully Nichols will kick on more now he had his spell of being out of the team
not sure anyone stood out but if I had to choose Morris MOM.
Fairs, there were some people on Twitter saying Ludwig was decent too, he's one player in my opinion that has improved throughout the season and reckon after January when Tunnicliffe hopefully returns he could be immense

He didn’t do much wrong. Few dodgy clearances, but otherwise did well. Craig made a mistake for their goal, but I suspect he bottled the challenge as he was already on a yellow which was very harsh as he didn’t appear to make contact, but he too otherwise did well. Main problem with Craig is that he is slow running back to bus own goal so we are always susceptible to the ball over the top, anything in front of him generally doesn’t get past him as he’s a very experienced defender.
Draw a fair result. Referee not the best. Not sure how obvious it was on ifollow but wind seemed to get stronger in 2nd half (against us) and it was squally rain as well. Ludwig MoM for me. Nice to see Jordan Tunnicliffe there with his dad +1. He hopes to be fit enough to play in the new year. Fingers crossed.
A valuable away point, in tough conditions. TC culpable for the Walsall goal, but where were the other defenders? Later, cleared a shot off the line, as a redemption.
What exactly was he supposed to do as our midfield gave their midfield acres of space (and time) to pick a pass between the two centre backs for a fast forward to run onto?
If he had dropped back the defensive line would have been all over the place, ditto if he had pushed forward. In an ideal world I would have liked to see Francillette closer to Craig (or vice versa) to close the gap between them but really it is the midfielder making the pass where the major error occurred...imho.
Can Nadeson and Davies collide with each other again but this time in the Walsall pen area and the ref can give us a penalty. Shocking referee constantly getting in the way of the ball too.
I think it was given because a Walsall player nudged one of them in the back, which caused the collision.

Hong Kong Paul made an amusing joke on Twitter the other day that his son had blamed Tony Craig after not handing in his homework.
These days I simply refuse to believe what anyone says about Craig unless I’ve triple-viewed the video of any incident, he’s become a bit of a fall guy. Not that he doesn’t make mistakes but his mistakes get raked over more

Admittedly, it was a perfect through ball and Craig couldn’t tactical foul as he was on a yellow. Seemed to be a case of the defense being too far up and no one to help Craig, their player was also very quick.

Yes I was expecting some horrendous error for their goal, didn’t see an obvious one though. Unfortunately, he is this season’s fall guy, the scapegoat. If we lose a game, it must be his fault. Every goal we concede must be his fault, or at least go looking for how it can be blamed on him. I’m with you on this, a lot of people like to blame him without even being at the game, and ever since I covered the Scunthorpe match where he and Lynch were our best players, but yet I was still reading that it was his fault from people not there, like you, I decided that my theory was indeed correct.

Just seen the goal and to me it looks like it was as much to do with the pace of the attacker than it was with the defence. As for Craig, maybe he would be better playing in a system that had 3 center backs? I just think that would suit him a lot more
It is funny how defenders and goalkeepers get blamed when we concede a goal but mistakes by attacking players are soon forgotten. Two shots on target is not good enough and Tilley should be ashamed of his miss in the first half.
