Great result. Great to get a win after 3 Covid postponements in a row. Lets hope we can continue playing and the fans can continue coming! That's my main hope footballing wise this year!
Probably our best home display so far this season I'd argue, we looked pretty good going forward and apart from the goal was able to limit an admittedly poor Colchester team to just a couple of chances.
Really pleased to see Nadesan gaining his focus back and he deserved his two goals. Ever since he's come back from the last suspension his attitude has definitely improved and that's lead to some good performances from him.
I saw Northampton lost 5-2 at Swindon today so feel if we play well we can defo get something positive up there
Good game. Lots of entertainment. After a shaky start Reds grew into the game and confidence rose after the opening goal. Game could've ended anything up to 5 or 6 each but Reds took their chances and Col U didn't. Ref let the game flow and we came off having competed well and deservedly collect all 3 points. Quality goals well worth seeing again on screen. No way are we going down. We will only climb the league with shifts like this that the players put in. Ash and Glenn my joint MOM. Glenn made some excellent point blank saves and Ash was a constant goal threat. Thoroughly enjoyable match. Happy New Years everyone.

Great result against a team with quality players, such as Alan Judge, who made a couple of chances today; ex- Blackburn R, Brentford, where he was a highly rated forward, until a reckless challenge by an Ipswich player broke his leg in two places and derailed his rising star as a future Eire international; ironically, after struggling to rediscover form following a year of mending, he moved onto play for Ipswich; football is a funny old game!

Nadesan always has had a good attitude in his 3 seasons at the club. Unsupportive fan(s) just made up nonsense about him having a poor disciplinary record based on two games, including one in which he was a victim of the worst decision I’ve seen from a referee in watching live football for 35 years
Thought we were very good, maybe a little below the blinding levels at Orient but we were playing a less durable team. Even so, the U’s looked better going forward than defending so we desperately needed that second goal and after wasting a few decent chances Lynch bundled that critical blow in the net. From then on, we were always winners, even despite the U’s raising their levels in the second half.
The new back 3 unit continues to look impressive and fair play to the wingbacks adapting to mostly unfamiliar positions. Appiah had some frustrating moments by his high standards but the other forwards stepped up. Morris I thought had a superb game and shaded MOTM for me tho I was pleased to see Nadderz rewarded
