So that's 5 games unbeaten and a good away point (albeit it could and should have been more)
I'm sure the usual suspects will be along with some bizarre stat about points dropped from away games in January against teams in blue when Tony Craig had cornflakes for breakfast, and that Yems should be fired, however the first priority was always staying up and that is being achieved quite comfortably.
I am a REALIST not a DREAMER. Long Term Stats do not Lie!
The Poor 2nd Half Showings are 1 or 2 or All 3 of the Below, you [unnecessary insult removed by Admin] decide which it is, but it must Improve inorder to make the Play-Offs!
1/ Tactics & Subs in the 2nd Half are Inadequate/Wrong. 2/ The Players are not fit enough to get 95 minutes. 3/ The Players are Chokers.
Of course long term stats can lie. They take no account of injuries, suspensions or illness. It is also enormously misleading to compare stats per half.
If a team is ahead at half time, they don't necessarly need to win or even draw in the second half to take points.
It is impossible to come to any meaningful statistical conclusion by comparing halves without taking into account the whole score differential between the halves, when the differential cannot measue the final result.
However interesting, they are of no statistical significance.
Like most here I'd have taken a point before the game. Like most here I'm peed off wit missing a penalty and the 93rd minute equaliser. Through, somewhat, gritted teeth. Well done Reds.
The stats thing. Stats don't lie but you have to dig into them to get the whole story. You also have to be very careful with what you are comparing. Forinstace; we score in 44th minute. They score in 46th minutes. Does that mean we tire in the second half? Well, obviously not but it could mean we are not switched on at the start of the second half or it could mean nothing. What I'm trying to say is look carefully at stats they can lead you astray.

Well done to those that made the long away trip.
At the moment we are on 32 points with up to two games in hand on the other teams in this division. I suspect around 45 points will be enough to keep you in the league this season so really we only need to pick up another 12-15 points to guarantee another Football League season which I'm pretty sure we'll achieve comfortably knowing the quality of some of our players. Ideally I'd love to have a bit of a go at the playoffs, especially as Tunnicliffe will hopefully be back soon and our other strikers as well as Appiah have regained their form, but in all honesty just beating last season's position and points total will be good enough for me.
I suspect we will be having a minor revamp of the squad over the summer so hopefully if we finish the season well that might help in being able to bring in a couple of top quality players

Only the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes though. The others made no difference.

Must be own brand though. If it included Kelloggs the stats wouldn't work.
