In my opinion, both these players need to at least be on the bench! Cox has the highest amount of assists in the past 10 years than any other League one player! Kaby was in my opinion a stand out player last season especially in his first 10 or so games! Am i missing out on something?

Kaby idnt good enough and Cox really hasnt performed more than average. If HK gets a result without these tiny players i cant argue with selection but am surprised cox hasnt made bench more this season.
I'm a bit puzzled as to why Cox seems to not even feature in the squad these days
Personal issues? Kewell doesn't rate him? Injured? Not match fit?
He's hardly set the world alight with his performances since he joined, but we've seen flashes of his ability, he's got plenty of experience at this level. If he's fit he can surely add something to team? His crossing and set piece ability alone is useful.

Agree with this. It's a mystery why he can't even get in the match day squad. Surely if nothing else he offers us an attacking option of the bench? HK seems to want to populate the team (and bench) with defensive midfielders. Just how many do we need?

Loads. Our defensive record is attrocious.
Actually our defensive record is quite good in the top 10 only conceding 11 in the 9 League matches - where we are lacking is scoring -

Why don't you check your facts before inanely leading off, 14 teams have conceded more goals than Crawley, including 2 teams in the top 7, while 2 others have conceded the same as Crawley, that leaves only 7 teams that have conceded fewer, as Alain H says it's goals scored where we are sadly lacking

6 - more than half the goals came in 2 matches, Port Vale and Colchester - so our defensive record is good - and most have been from individual errors that could have been avoided

After nine games our goal difference is the same as last year, eight better than the season before that and seven better than the season before that.
As Supertramp once said "Crisis, What Crisis?"
To illustrate better, here are our figures after 9 games:
FA 17/181011 16/171112 15/16615 14/15412
So we have conceded fewer goals than the previous three seasons.
Whilst a number of the goals conceded this season have been defensive errors, does this mean we have actually reduced the errors from previous seasons?

Surely more (or better) defenders would be the way to go?
