At the weekend when this was announced I was very surprised as he had featured in the last few squads and we were a bit short of players who can do a good job at right-wing as a result of Tilley's concussion, which initially made me suspect Yems didn't have much of a say in it. But a few days afterwards it probably makes more sense as I'm sure he will have wanted to play a lot more football than he has done since he returned from injury, and with him not being able to match up to the performances and pace he showed before February 2020 my guess is that the club's management thought it would be best for his fitness to be playing more regularly at a club the level below rather than making short cameos once every other game here.
His contract does indeed run out this summer and what this means for him in regards to his future beyond this season who knows. Guess it depends on how well he does at Barnet. If he isn't back next season I'll miss him as he was arguably our best player around late-2019 and had a few good chats with him after games too
2 goals and played 90 mins. Letting him go seems more and more mental by the day. Desperately lacking attacking options
14 goals in his career, is hardly prolific; sent out on loan to get game time and get back form , which succeeded today, against the bottom of the non-league division where he's on loan, to put it in perspective.
Just watched Reece's goals. The first was a screamer from 25 yards the second was a well taken header from the centre of the goal.
True, against the bottom of the league but good goals.
Jim Baker
I just feel he wasn't allowed enough time to prove himself after the long term injury. Im sure he would have added something positive to our play yesterday fully fit or not.

and we were against a similar team and failed to show up in front of goal
