Sadly it's always been that way since the stadium opened and probably always will be that way whatever the circumstances of the match they're playing unless they significantly improve the transport infrastructure around the stadium so that's it's much easier to get to and from the stadium.

Tin pot village to get out of and its smelly. Transport sh1te ...queue for sardine journey on train probably longer than the match...and its all corporate doorknobs watching more concerned with arriving late with prawn sandwich in one hand and fairy cake in the other.
The build was full of bullsh1t...community like fvck stadium...joke of a railway...snookered if they strike but with all these types of clubs the men in suits can park up in their reserve spaces so what do they care....if that progress maybe the fact Crawley arent heading there any day soon aint so bad.

I went yesterday as a friend of mine had a spare ticket. Getting out really isn't that bad when you compare it to another premier league side. The game finished at 5.50 and I was at brighton train station by 6.20. Given there is 30,000 people all trying to get the same train ill take a 30 minute wait/journey to get back to the main train station.
As for people leaving early, what game doesn't have droves of people leaving early now. It just an attempt to beat the rush at he end of the day and if you are going to have crowds as big as that you are always going to get it. Also, my prediction for Tuesday nights game against Newport is that if we are winning, drawing or losing people will still leave from about 85 minutes onwards.
the ques for our tickets is long enough with only a hand full of fans. When we get the odd good crowd it's terrible. Anybody going to a top flight match is in for a day of ques and stress. When all is said and done would much rather goto the local game with less crowds for a more traditonal experience with standing and a stress free journey home. After a good win is preferable.
