Great Win & Good Performance but Worryingly still dropping back last 20 mins. That needs sorting out quickly! I've said all season this Squad is good enough to make Top7. If we dont finish Top7 then the dropping back last 20 mins has cost us this!
1st Half Stats/2nd Half Stats after 31 League Matches:-
1st Half Stats - Won 14 Drawn 12 Lost 5 - GF 22 GA 11 2nd Half Stats - Won 5 Drawn 14 Lost 13 - GF 17 GA 31
We are in 3rd Place in the League on 1st Half Stats. We are in 23rd Place in the League on 2nd Half Stats.
Outstanding result; I send , in spirit, a bottle of fungible champagne to all the team and staff!
Ironic that our manager is viewed as a non-fun-guy, at least he could enjoy having 2 refs to moan about yesterday... guess they had not read the script...(?)
Am in the New Forest for a few days, so missed the fun, but I can only imagine what you lot had to go through from the 80th minute onwards, well done everyone...!

The last 10 minutes were incredibly stressful to watch, but thankfully they had the determination to make sure we didn't throw it away this time and that was why we were successful.
It was also very pleasing to see Ferry perform really well yesterday too especially after what happened in the last game. Obviously him and Yems were able to resolve things pretty quickly, and I thought the club media were pretty clever in involving Ferry a lot in the pre-match build up as it did help send a message to us that things were all good again. His performance yesterday showed that he does want to do well for John Yems and the club
FGR had previously watched Will Ferry and had targeted him as someone who might retaliate. He took a lot of stick from their number 3 in the second half ( who was a very good player). Very pleased to see Will keep his head.
For me there was no man of the match. Every player gave their all. A great performance against a good side. Well done.
Now for Tuesday night. Oldham will provide a different challenge and I expect them to be a difficult team to break down.

why dont you leave at halftime? You might enjoy it more and not bore us with a rant on here especially after beating the runaway league leaders.
Alas to leave at halftime, he’d actually have to turn up. Notice how his posts are all selection or stats mining, nothing about what actually goes on in games from a spectator’s viewpoint
No doubt Yems got a wee bit fortunate here as without Nadderz’s direct running, we wouldn’t have got this result, he was instrumental in both goals.
But let’s underline the things Yems got right. He’s built a back 3 that can nullify those pair of strikers that have terrorised L2 defences all season.
Ferry at right wingback was a nice innovation as he was like a Duracell bunny all game. Not faultless, gave away a silly foul for the FGR goal and hence got his now traditional bollocking from the sidelines. But that’s football, if he wants a higher loan than L2 next season he has to take it on the chin and work hard. And yesterday he did that, well done young man
This allowed Yems to put Francomb back into midfield which for me always gels things better there for me.
Hutchinson looked bright in the Nichols role and that was a good call by Yems. Nichols has had a few injury breaks this season and tends to take time getting back to top form and I thought the second half also showed that
Powelly trying to get into Yems good books by cleaning out the ref was funny *Frank Lampard tone shift* no but seriously get well soon ref

Great to see Yems and Ferry make up and the a good professional performance from him

spot on Steve - last part of game certainly matched our forum friends stats but thankfully we survived
great to see a result like this and the feedback n the forum. Thought gate was poor for a match like this but guess away numbers were low as well. We need to remember how we feel tonight if we come crashing to earth on Tuesday which is entirely possible.
