Overall a draw looked about right and apart from a couple of (IMO) clear wrong decisions I thought the ref was okay. I wasn't in a position to see what Yems did to be red carded but I think it followed an incident when Nicky Adams went down as if poleaxed (to try and get a player sent off) and I'm not convinced there was any contact.
The highlights don't help with this, but we thought that their first was clearly offside. The fact that there wasn't much protest from our players and that no-one has mentioned it on here suggests we got it wrong.
Not that it matters much - a draw seemed about right. Thought all 4 goals were well taken, perhaps especially theirs.
After a fairly dull first half, actually came away from the match feeling entertained, which hasn't happened often at home this season (I missed FGR).
Looking back Oldham were a very poor side we gave them everything and with Young in charge Saturday I am very confident we will bounce back with a thrashing of one of the teams getting relegated this season.

My brother was at the game last night and he said the first was offside. Like you say, the camera angle doesn’t clear that up!

You really think so? Deary me🙄

Definitely remember its Lewis Young in charge. He'll make sure we don't concede after all he has a wealth of experience defending and we have strikers that are on form. Enjoy the goal feast Saturday.
The first Oldham goal was YARDS offside; let's factor in the bad refereeing to the end result, the draw, it could be worse, so keep, positive - the team peppered the Old Ham goal and put in a good shift. Yemsy; I know the officials are of low calibre, but swearing at them doesn't change the unfortunate decisions and outcomes, plus you have made yourself a target for them through repeatedly criticising their decisions, so ease back, for a while!
I was entertained last night. Four decent goals, a manager sent off and a ref to be angry at.
It's OK for me to be angry with the ref and maybe mouth off at him a bit: he can't send me off! Serious question John. If one of your players was facing missing five or more matches because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. What would you do?

Ah, okay. I was probably in one of the worst positions in the ground to judge that goal offside and wasn't aware it was an issue until seeing it on here.
