FT 2-1 Exeter. Robbed by the referee. We gave it a good go in the second half after a poor first half, but we huffed and puffed and lacked quality in the end.
I wish Exeter all the worst luck in the playoffs. They were just about better than us tonight but I want them in our league next season so we can stick one on them not once but twice
Very irritated by that game to be honest, not because of our players or manager but the fact it was decided by incompetent officiating. If Exeter were to get promoted with a 3-point margin or less I'd imagine the clubs that missed out would be fuming once they see this
Devon police are on the look out for a man dressed in black following a robbery at St. James Park this evening.
I think we should just get the Refbot from Robot Wars to referee all our games from now on, I'm sure he'd be able to see more things than some of the officials we've had this term
Okay, I know... but... it is also a real shame that the strong sense of injustice, has so seriously overshadowed what was a very spirited display that everyone involved with Crawley Town FC has every right to be proud of...!
Credit to our makeshift defence - I’d go as far as to say that Tunnicliffe and Craig probably wouldn’t have changed the result tonight, the first looked a mistake by a forward back defending a set piece and the second an obvious present by the lino and ref.
Both Ludwig and Jake H had superb games in particular

yes and we did a lot better than I was expecting. Let's hope at least one of the other center backs will be all good by Saturday too. Shame about Nick as well and hoping he won't be out for long, I guess if he can't play on Saturday Ferry will slot into that position, especially seeing that Gallacher won't be allowed to train because of his concussion at the weekend. Ludwig just had a bad day at the office on Saturday but as he's young and this is his first season in proper first-team football he will get better with more experience

Exeter's manager on their post-match interview conceded it was a foul on Morris. The selected player on there was not quite so candid but stated that he was surprised a goal was awarded and was fully expecting a Crawley free kick. Admittedly it is easy to be gracious in victoy
The lino also flagged for a foul
What on Earth did the ref see/not see that everybody else did? To be fair to Matt Taylor he did say it highlights the quality of officials endured in L2
It was a game of very limited consequence for Crawley but the ineptitude displayed tonight has left me fuming beyond my bedtime
I hope someone at the club has restrained Yems and Young needs to do the press interview. I agree about the comments in this thread about our efforts tonight. We gave it a real go and hard to pick a MOM every player worked hard. We were robbed of a point. No doubt about that.
Surely a definite foul on Morris for the second goal but he tried to catch the ball when many keepers would have punched it away or tipped the ball over the bar.
