Still believe letting him and Grego Cox go was a mistake
Grego- Cox looked unfit against Swindon, he was totally off the pace. I think it's gonna take him a while to get back to where he was after such a long injury, letting him build up his fitness at another club temporarily seems like a good idea to me.

Although the fact his contract runs out in a few months times raises more questions than answers
I think that this will be a tough game and we will find Rochdale difficult to break down. They are still in a relegation battle and will be pleased with a point. 1-0 to Crawley with a scrappy goal mid way through the second half.
WHEN not if , WHEN we win comfortably this week-end without Craig & Powell, you can all have your say regards the matter!
No need to wait.... I can give you the answers now:
We win - of course, it is easy this management job, we should have listened to you & your Mum...
We draw - it is the inadequate midfield, tactics, fitness & manager, we should have listened to you & your Mum...
We lose - it is the inadequate midfield, tactics, fitness & manager... with problems in attack... plus improved, but still inadequate defending... we should have listened to you & your Mum...!

Might be able to provide some info on both but from what I know...
Powell is out for the rest of the season, quite a few of the players were telling me that as well as a couple that have spoken with Yems lately. Should be fine for start of next season though. Nick Tsaroulla also won't play again this term due to a foot injury
I've noticed in the last couple of weeks Tony Craig has been helping out with the coaching, obviously don't take my word for granted at all but to me this suggests that he is looking to move into this area permanently very soon so I would not be surprised at all if he has played his last game in professional football. With the injury he has it would take him a few weeks to recover and build up match fitness, by which the end of the season will have come, and with his playing contract running out this summer I just get that feeling he will decide to hang up his boots in May, but will still be at the club as a coach (especially as Yems seems to really like him)

Well I really hope not on Craig because he’s been excellent this season.
You are correct about Powell, heard it from the horses mouth
Yes sounds like knee ligaments with Powell, so not surprised if he’s out for the season. Tony Craig was in the dugout with Lewis today, good move I say, as indeed it would be even when John is there. As per earlier posts, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with Tony - 37 this year, could do a lot worse than appointing him as coach as we’re a man down in that department.

I get what you mean about Tony as I'd say he's had a much better personal campaign this season than last. I just think that having seen him helping out with the warm up the last couple of weeks it has made me wonder if he's switched his focus more on coaching now, and considering his age and speed I'd be a bit concerned if we're still having to rely on him (as a player) for our defence by this point in 2023. Would definitely love to have him around the place still and feel he could fill in the big personality on the touchline I think we have lacked a little bit since Lee Bradbury left and John Yems hasn't been available, but if he's to carry on playing beyond this summer I think he'd be better use as a back-up option if an injury crisis happens (with him focusing a lot more heavily on coaching)
