Agree with the above, what the hell was that all about?? Ok, we know it's Harry's first day in the job, but are we to assume it was the press guys first day too??
He hadn't thought about what to ask, he made it up as he went along, the questions he asked were shit and pointless and he made himself look a tit. Harry was clearly thinking the same. What an embarrassment.
My sons year three class would have acted more professionally if in that reporters role, I'm sure of that.

I guess he must have been the COBS journo then 😆
Honestly, I don't care about the poor quality of the press conference. I know plenty of excellent tradespeople who are lousy at marketing. It's the quality of the work that counts.
Except that tradespeople don't generally hold press conferences having hyped themselves up on Facebook, email etc first.
I did a double take really, couldn't we at least have organised a couple of Crawley tops for them when appearing on the TV.
It is obvious that Kewell hasn't got a clue about what players he has inherited. It looks like he has to coach what is being provided to him by the Turks.
I seriously fear for our lives. Our odds were cut yesterday to 100/1 to win the league, second from bottom only Morecambe below.
Have to say I can only agree with what has been said about the whole press conference. It was very short and concise, there wasn't much to be gained from it. HK was unconvincing and didn't look prepared. I hope that as it's early days things will improve. Hopefully we can give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think you make a fair point armchair, The questions were dull and bland and made it more difficult for HK to say anything interesting, that said, I would've expected HK to be more articulate and go into a bit more detail with his plans for the season i.e where in the table are they aiming to finish?
Not much to take from that at all. The platitudes were not perfected by Kewell and the questions from the journal's were mundane.
You can only answer the questions put to you but I expect with more experience Kewell would have expanded on some of the answers.
After the question about style of play (where the answer was attacking while also defending😕) not one person thought to ask about preferred line up or long ball versus short ball etc. Come on journo's. More is expected.
It was poorly planned, poorly staged, poorly executed and dull... the questions were so predictable and yet everyone seemed caught out by them... had there been any preparation beforehand..?
However you can overcome all of that with a bit of positive energy, passion & personality...
Unfortunately there wasn't any, Harry presented as though he had been on the monkey-dust the night before and Feeney looked like a club bouncer who had wandered into the wrong funeral.
It is now time for damage limitation... organise a "meet the fans" barbecue pretty damn pronto and pull out the stops... do not under-estimate the damage done... we are becoming a laughing stock..!

The press conference should not have been held for at least another week, HK and WF should have been given an opportunity to at least find out who the players are before having to face anybody, yet another example of the slave mentality to social media. The whole thing should have been done on rules set down by CTFC not the club dancing to any old tune everyone else wants to whistle
Thad is dead right with his earlier post, the club had just the one chance to get it right and present the entire of CTFC as a professional group, instead of that they blew it and that's what everyone will remember

I think you're probably right...and certainly wasn't his first day...
