This is a tricky one as Walsall looked the better team? They had about 4 or 5 ball carriers who could run 30 or 40 yards and create shooting chances. You could say our goalline led a charmed life and that’s true, but I think we should give credit to the discipline of our defence who always tried to make things difficult. Lynch was MOTM by miles but Tunnicliffe and Ludwig while not faultless stood firm. Once again I thought we looked below par in midfield and Yems had to bring on Craig there near the end to try and get some tackles in the middle of the park. Fantastic shot by Hutchinson but I thought he still has more developing to do to be part of a top 7 Crawley team.
Another ugly win but improving teams earn those and I don’t believe it’s just luck - or “variance” as Preston and Eben might call it.
The No 7 for Walsall up front is a hell of a player for this division. I’m hoping players who put in really good shifts against us might be on our radar. Steve Evans was a past master at signing players who would have the impertinence of playing well against us
Of course she was (in her own opinion anyway) but I think you're veering off course with the "as well"
My Constant Moaning for 12 months has been about 5 Topics & 5 Topics ONLY.
1/ Yems plays Josh Wright Too Much. 2/ Yems plays Tony Craig Too Much. 3/ Yems plays Jack Powell Too Much. 4/ We are not fit enough to last the final 20 minutes of each match. 5/ Yems is a Great Scout & Great Coach, but has much to learn about Management & Picking Winning Teams.
Like your Ex Wife, I am normally right when it comes to Football.
Has to be said I thought the new owners picking up the half time beer tab in Redz was a very nice gesture. Too far for me to walk from the West Stand but I’m sure the fellas in the Winfield stand appreciated it!

No, you are the consistent s**t and loser, you always are
“we were as flat as a pancake that was run over” I agree with John Yems assessment. We are finding a way to win these tough matches, that is where we have progressed.

John with another Gem in his interview, this time about pancakes. It also did make me smile when the interviewer asked Will his thoughts on the gaffer for the fans😂. What was interesting to note was that Ferry said “get as many points as we can and push on for next season.” Southampton going to loan him back again?

Or get a permament deal sorted out??
Also think reading into what's happening with Derby and the risk that they could have 15 points deducted for next season makes me think we might be more tempting for Hutchinson to sign for too. Especially if there is a chance we may be in the same division as them in 2023-24
Yems was quite right when he said it was as flat as a pancake!! On or around 60 minutes I thought the players and crowd had popped out for a coffee and were caught in the west stand queues!!!
Game started bright though to be fair and looked like it had the makings of a decent game. It needed an early goal and when it didn’t materialise it was tough going.
We still rely on Nadesan as an out ball too much for my liking and with Lynch and Tunni back I don’t think we need to be going so long so often. I thought midfield would be light physically without Payne but overall they competed well against a big strong opposition.
Not quite sure how Will managed to get MoM. He wasn’t poor by any means but among many ok’ish performances I thought Lynch, Tunni, Morris we’re probably more deserving and if it was for effort alone Nadesan also.
Also thought Nicholls performance was a little under appreciated too. I felt he worked hard and used his body to win free kicks and gain us time later in the game.
The goal was the one real moment of quality and I echo others thoughts on hoping Yems can persuade Hutchinson that he could have a good future if he spent a year or two with us!
The thing with Hutchinson, as well as Ferry, is that their best years are still far ahead of them, so if we were able to sign them for next season at least you'd think they'd both get better too. Players at their age only get better by playing competitive football regularly, look at how much Ludwig has developed his game this season because he's been featured regularly

Flat as a Pancake! Experience Experience Experience! The Ref is Cr@p! Yems you still can be one of the best, but you must change your beliefs. But do not change your Scouting Ability! Yes we need a couple of experienced players in every match, but for [offensive remark deleted by Admin] play the talented ones in front of the experienced has beens!.
