The previous regime handed out replica shirts to kids at local schools which was great, and mentioned about the need to promote the club around the town but nothing really ever materialised.
Apologies for not posting this before, but last Saturday morning I dropped my other half off at Three Bridges station. I noticed a big electronic advertising screen adjacent to the pub opposite (The Snooty Fox) One of the adverts on the screen was for that days friendly against QPR stating ticket prices/kick off time. Now I thought this was a great idea and obviously someone at the club arranged this. Anyone coming out of the station could hardly miss it. Hopefully this will continue for the whole of the season advertising upcoming home games.
That board by the Snooty Fox has also been advertising our season ticket sales, as has the digital board at Three Bridges FC. So the club are starting to make their presence known around the town. We really need a digital display board of our own at the entrance to the ground, instead of the wooden fixtures board.
We also have no presence anywhere in the town centre. Not sure what we could have, but we need something. Never any CTFC kits in the sports shops. The new kits are made by Adidas - surely we could have some on sale in Sports Direct? Idk if that's feasible at all, but I still think most of the population of the town have no idea Crawley Town exists.

The club need to (rather should have pre-filled it before the first home pre-season friendly) fill the club shop with a variety of merchandise instead all we had were a few left overs from last season - an opportunity missed.

Indeed, I've said for a while we need to offer a wider variety, things like golf tees and markers, classic shirts, guitar picks etc could be decent
Advertising around Three Bridges station is exactly the kind of place the club should be advertising. Well done to the new owners for siezing the initiative.

Yes, hopefully it will lay a guilt trip on those travelling to London to watch their (gran)dads' teams play.

I can't stand all the disingenuous Muppets that come up with really crap connections to their Premier League team 'my grandad's dog came from battersea dogs home so I support Chelsea'

To translate it: 'I support Chelsea because they were winning lots of things when I was growing up'

My grandparents lived in Carshalton for quite a while, but I'm not going to start watching Sutton.

I lived in Sutton and used to watch them in the late 60s early 70s, now they’re the team I really want us to beat.
