Is it just me that finds it slightly odd allowing season ticket holders to buy 4 tickets each? I’m sure they will hit general sale but 2 or even 3 would have sufficed to ensure regular attendees who don’t have a season ticket can attend. As I say, I’m sure it won’t get to that but with the apparent demand it’s definitely making me more nervous I won’t get a ticket.

It does seem alot I agree...I only bought 1 extra for family member but with a 1000 sth a quick bit of maths and including Fulham allocation ,could be in short supply. I got messaged a few minutes ago it was sold out but not believing that until club announce it.

I agree with this completely. I joined the CTSA to make sure I had access to the priority tickets (many thanks to them for their prompt and diligent attention in processing this in time) but if that had not happened, we would be in the same position.
There needs to be a better recognition of fan loyalty other than season tickets and membership of the CTSA. Some supporters can't afford season tickets or can't attend enough games to make it worth it.
I have seen numerous online comments in the last couple of days from people saying they are looking forward to their first ever Crawley game, asking how to get to the ground and other indications that they have never been before and I know many true supporters who are hanging by their fingernails hoping they can get tickets when they go on general sale.
The current system is not channelling tickets to genuine supporters properly.
Perhaps more recognition should be given to those who travel to away games - Sons FC Jr and I went to all the pre-season friendlies, including Edinburgh for the Hearts game, to the away game at Carlisle during a train strike (7.00am until 2.00am the next morning) we go to about half the away games every season and there is no benefit to this when it comes to supporter loyalty for priority tickets.
Not everyone can afford to go to away games or are mobile enough - perhaps we could look at a points system for games attended and prioritise those with the most points averaged over two seasons, for example.
What happens and whether or not anything changes, the current system is not working well for a lot of regular supporters.

Seriously? Obviously great for the club if this is the case, but it never occurred to me that we wouldn't have at least some left by Friday.

I completely forgot that they had gone on sale to CTSA members as well, I should learn to read properly. I’m all for new supporters coming along to games as I’m sure all true loyal fans are but if what you say is true, then I will be very unhappy. I work every other Saturday so it’s not financially viable for me to become a season ticket holder, I also purchased an 1896 membership for the Leeds game so I could secure a ticket for that. I assume they were just valid for that season?? I was also at the Bristol Rovers game as I will be tonight, how about if you purchased a ticket for the 1st round game to again show some loyalty..so many ways that they could have staggered the priority window. Fulham announced ticket details today and they have been allocated 1200 for the terrace and 144 seats, this should mean there’s an extra 300 seats or so in the east stand so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Im in the same boat. Will be pretty upset if they have sold out but I guess my fault for not getting a season ticket. Didn’t know if I could make most games this season so didn’t get one.
I tried this lunchtime but didn't get through so sent an email enquiring about getting a ticket, they said they have been very busy today. Managed to get through this afternoon and now have it all sorted.
Best thing to do is keep trying and either call earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon before it closes. Still got tomorrow and Thursday when it's only open to priority groups so no need to panic yet
Sell out? For this “tippy-tappy” rubbish? How did that happen 😉
having being a staunch Yems supporter, the games so far this season has provided much more entertainment than most over the dull 2-3 years past. The squad and players look much more like the real deal with admittedly further experience and tweaking needed but come on Steve, show a little patience and enjoy the ride

Of course it is not your "fault" Gbred. Not having, or being able to have, a season ticket doesn't alter, lessen or cheapen your support for the team. I am sure we would all far rather have supporters like you at the game than the "don't really care but someone gave me a ticket" or the "first Crawley game, how do I get to the ground" non-supporters.

KEVIN BETSY'S RED ARMY!
True sons thank you😁frustration at myself! I will be running to the ticket office on Friday.
Managed to get tickets (I think, the payment hasn’t come out my account yet but got email confirmation). Very very few remaining. About 150? Also only found out you can get them online last minute today!!
