The first half on Saturday was one of the worst halves I have ever seen. All Wimbledon's goals and chances came from us gifting them the ball. Jack Powell was horrendous.
We keep giving the ball straight to opposition players and we play far too slowly. When our midfield get the ball they stop. The forwards don't - they make their runs but the ball doesn't come through, the runs stop, the opposition regain their shape and the energy of the move is lost, so the midfield have no option but to pass the ball backwards.
It was tedious and unwatchable.
Betsy's reaction is to say the system is not wrong, he just doesn't have the right players to play the system, yet he has signed 19 players and it is partly his players who keep getting it wrong.
I am still behind him though. We have 7-10 regular players injured and we are fielding more than half a team of academy players which is not his fault. I am sure he would rather introduce them gradually to league football than have to rely on them as the core of the team.
In the second half of the Northampton game last Tuesday we battered them only to lose by a sucker goal in the 92nd minute, so we know the system can work...but how often and how consistently?
I am sure it will come right eventually but it is not working right now and he is piling pressure on himself but I believe it will happen.

KEVIN BETSY'S RED ARMY!
To be honest I think it is more the players who were with the club before Betsy joined that have shown the most worrying form. Balagizi has been by far our best player this season and he definitely classes as an 'academy player', also I really don't think Morris would have made any difference.
Again, it's been a horrible start to the league season but it is still very early on and I feel a few people are overreacting, and when the first win comes I believe the team will kick on from there as some of the mistakes look to be confidence related. Personally I thought the period last autumn when we lost around 8 games in a row or something was worse as I genuinely thought we were at risk of getting relegated at that point

And i think you should stop being so pessimistic, try optimistic you may like it.
And i think you should try being realistic all these post on the forum since Saturdays game cant be wrong, you just cant see anything wrong with the club maybe we all need to be on what ever you are.

Big difference between something being wrong with the club and fans rightly being unhappy at a poor game of football by us
Seeing some murmurs that Nick Tsaroulla isn’t injured and is in fact fit and ready to play but Betsy doesn’t trust him and doesn’t want to pick him! Beggars belief. Its our biggest weakness in the team at the moment.
It does beggar belief - if it were true! Betsy says it's nonsense

Good! Needs to play him regularly. This did concern me though. “Betsy did suggest there may be some players who would be leaving the club. “We know the quality of the players we have in the squad and there are players who are at a good level that won't fit what we are trying to do going forward and that’s the nature of the football industry.” - Ermmmmm who? Most of our players have somewhat fresh contracts.
Yes good question, I guess we’ll see. I doubt if it will be any of the guys who have played 3-4 times this season already tho and who have done reasonably ok despite iffy results. We probably have reached the stage where some have to be moved out to bring more in.
I think the only outcome of this Tsaroulla gossip is the Fulham manager now knows who one of our second half subs are
Someone said they saw Marshall at one of the games a week or so ago. if he is still here then get him playing because hes better than some who are.
Agreed. Marshall has been injured so I guess that's why we haven't seen him around yet. He's listed on the squad list on club website but not in the one in the matchday programme I don't think so go figure. I think he should be given a chance. He knows how to play forwards and attack the opposition goal. So probably got no chance of a game under KB.
