The boycott is around the u23 teams and the slippery slope to them being brought into the football league.
Not something I would do but I can understand where it's coming from. Im not sure if any of our fans are not turning up to these games because of it but I do know fans from other clubs arent.
Got to say I'd love to be in the same division as Pompey again. Decent fans, decent ground and a very pleasant train trip and drink in the Rifle Club.

Thanks for that Jim - all a bit strange but hey ho everybody to their own!
Well done to the supporters that actually bothered to turn up
I dont agree, as such, but you do know there is a boycott of this trophy going on...don't you? Doubt very much many of our fans take part but you never know.
Take a look around other fans forums and there is a lot of congratulations regarding low turn outs and their own team losing games. Plus a few p takes over us congratulating ourselves on a good turn out.

To be fair, Pompey are about as traditional fan base as they come in upholding the old fashioned values of football. They were saved from going under not long ago because their fans cared enough to do something about it. But given their numbers they brought to the Broadfield, I don’t think this boycott is really taking off
Also was going to say, if you're a glass half-full person you could look at recent results and point out we are on a 3-match unbeaten run in all comps 😂

Most People on this Forum have not got a clue what effects the 2 Mickey Mouse Cup Runs will have on this Club Long Term this Season. It is Really Sad To Read of the Lack of Knowledge on this Forum.
Forget Forecasting Results - Get Lynch Back and Get This Club OUT of the 2 Mickey Mouse Cup Runs and we will start to do VERY WELL!
Too many miles in the 'A' Team Players Legs aint good long term for this club. Betsy will play the 'A' Team again against Burnley again guaranteed, because he will be fighting for his job again - I cannot see a solution - can you?

Sure can - just attend a cup game and you will see what it brings everybody. The joy and momentum by far outweighs any perceived impact. Can you seriously claim that the few cup games we have played this season are influencing our league results?
Scarlett the young lad who scored against us on Tuesday scored twice yesterday to beat Peterborough, wonder if we’ve glimpsed a star in the making there (he’s a Spurs loanee)

Betsey said in interview about Scarlet, that he will play for Tottenham.
So maybe we did get possibly get a glimpse of a future star.

Oh yes, this one again!! Apparently, winning a couple of cup ties in August will mean the players will be knackered by April.
