Understandably after a poor result the knives are out again. I Wasn't there and didn't see it so I can't really comment on game itself. However, I do hope that Wagmi are able to accept that the rookie they put in pace needs time to get results and I still say a season is a reasonable timeframe. The new Chelsea hierarchy have a history in the US of supporting under fire managers and I hope Wagmi are strong enough to ignore the calls for his sacking based on a blinkof an eye. Ten games is nothing when you are learning your trade. Yes, results could and maybe should be better but as we are only beginning this new relationship people need to be more patient - incessant calling for a scapegoat adds no value. We had a bad day but let's all try and be more positive and see what we are capable of achieving by sticking to the current team who have invigorated the team this year and could well take us to places we have never been before - up not down!

Didn’t realise Francis Vines was manager of Stevenage.
Major disruption in the stands - care to quantify that?
The annual Stevenage slide down the table to commence on Saturday as Crawley win 3-0. The fat fraudster and his sidekick sacked by Christmas and never let near a football club again.
2 sweaty goals scored from our defenders trying to play tiki taka in our own penalty area and Stevenage play acting, diving, kicking the ball away before free kicks and general gamesmanship leaves a smug Evans walking at full time to chants of Betsy out.
At least 3-0 to Stevenage unless Betsy comes up with a more inspirational way of playing, lose and i think it will all kick off with Betsy out chant or you don't know what you are doing.
I cant help but think Saturday isn't going to be a good day as there is so much negativity around at the moment - even Alain in his after game email seems despondent which doesnt bode well. We need to try to go to game willing Betsy and the team to succeed and if horror of horrors we go behind or lose then not start to barrack the team and staff. They dont need telling when its not good enough and we can help at the moment by showing some backbone however I doubt that will happen?

This is certainly a game where we might go a goal down early given the blitzkreig football Evans plays. The crowd then must lift the players, not use it as an opportunity to grind axes. Save it to after the final whistle if the worst happens. Against Stockport the loyalty of the fans I think was an important part of us recovering from the setbacks in that game, ours is a small ground and the players can hear most stuff
If we are to get anything from this game we need to get the crowd behind us. An early goal would help. I would like to see Betsy become a success at Crawley, but he has a long way to go.
