Can’t see Stockport being as bad in the 2nd period. Their guy up top has some real pace and is a danger but we’re pressing well and not allowing them to string a pass together. If we can remove the mistakes then the game is there for the taking. Huge 2nd period with results going our way as it stands. COYR
I’ve given Addai support but enough is enough, 2 horrible goals to concede in a game that was there for the taking. With him in goal for the rest of the season we won’t survive.
I am so hacked off with that second half and those 2 blunders at the back from our defence and the keeper. Our recruitment has been a blooming shambles. FFS we knew Corey was rubbish he helped get Betsy the sack, that’s why we bought in 2 keepers in loan and why he was third choice for a while. Now he’s back in goal, most of our senior players have left and Nichols is scoring goals for Gillingham and Morris is keeping clean sheets. Gillingham will probably finish above us. We are staring down the barrel of relegation right now. We’ve had a million one different players, managers and formations. If you have WAGMI Real Madrid they’d probably relegate them to the Spanish regional leagues given enough time.
Again only two chances on target. We really need to have more if we are going to have any chance particularly if making mistakes at the back. Give Schofield a chance in goal Scott, we need to get a point at least at Orient. At least Hartlepool lost too, so still not in bottom two.

We played the entire second half looking like we'd had one, if not two players sent off; such was Stockport's dominance. I think they had another gear in reserve if they needed it - naturally they didn't. Telford and Nadesan were utterly pointless, but guess what, we have no other options. Two pathetic goals concededed thrust us further into the mire and we are looking down the barrel of the gun with deeper and deeper focus. This club and season have become a total shitshow
Now that my anger at Addai has slightly subsided, I’m going to try and look at the few positives: We still have 3 games in hand on Hartlepool and Rochdale. The term must win is far too overused but I genuinely think if we get something from those games we stay up. We will accumulate a handful of points from other games and having watched both of those teams and read reports on their games we are not as bad as them (believe it or not) The Stockport commentators were complimentary of us tonight and said that we have too much to go down. I tend to agree but we HAVE to sort out the mistakes. We’re still trying to play decent build up football and have endeavour to press and force teams into mistakes in midfield. We are lacking more in confidence than quality in my opinion.(GK excluded) It’s going to be a slog but I’m far from losing the faith and still believe we will be okay.

and a big shout to the fans who travelled. Reported as 155 away fans - is that a correct number? If so, proud of you all making that journey on a Tuesday night.

A great night out then spoiled by the football😩. Can those who watched on ifollow confirm what happened at the other end just before they equalised? Couldn’t quite see and I’ve since had it confirmed that Gladwin had a shot saved by the keeper’s legs….presume he should have scored?
