www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64686211 Dont worry guys we had 67% possession and look at all those shots. I can see WAGMI now ....werent we a shade unlucky.
I presume "Steve" must be in the USA with his mates from WAGMI.............

It's strange John. After an abject hammering I thought we would at least have had the comfort of hearing from Steve on how wonderful things are at Crawley Town FC and what a top squad of players these are.
Perhaps he is exhausted from talking out his ar*e.

Something didnt feel right at the end of todays match...I couldnt feel the hurt in the players. How many bleed Crawley Town? We have lost the long term players that have the history of the club with them...i fear that depth is missing and we will struggle as a result. It was painful today. So painful. I dont think I will get over today for a very long time. Dreadful stewarding, lost the toss then that ****pot Nightingale has a go, the match was over in minutes. Todays hurt a lot.

Think you are all a bit harsh on Steve, he expresses his opinion which mainly makes good sense. Not much to get positive about today as manager said himself, but we do have some good players in the squad and they need our support going forward to stave off relegation. Todays game had a sense of inevitability that everybody felt we are on our way down but Hartlepool and Rochdale seem worse than us and as little as that is to be thankful for lets try and stay positive not only for the team but ourselves the fans otherwise we might as all stay all stay at home and watch the rugby.

Whilst I wish Preston a recovery from his health problems. As an owner he and his side-kick are a disgrace. The WAGMI guys tweet all and everything except no interest, no passion about CTFC lately at all. All WAGMI tweet are repeats of line ups etc. no real personal input. I think they have given up.

Maybe Steve is not around because he gets shouted down for his opinions.
Agree or disagree but never stop listening to those who care enough to voice a different opinion.
Not at the match so no real comment other than we need to start winning games and the fans seem to understand our onfield problems much more than the coaching and management staff.

Good players that have taken Crawley to the dizzy heights of second bottom. Perhaps Preston hasn't figured out he has the table upside down.
The only positive is that I still think Hartlepool and Rochdale will be worse than us come May, when a massive clearout will be needed.
As Scott and Dom said in their interviews, yesterday's performance was unacceptable. Hope players are bought in for extra session today. Sometimes a performance like that can give the impetus for change. Players and Scott need to look at way we play. We need two up front so Dom, is not all alone, certain players are not good enough, and we need to use all our subs if losing. Owners need to sign some free agents if they can - experienced midfielders, striker etc

It was painfully obvious we miss someone like Nichols to hold up the play and feed the ball through to Telford. Telford at some points literally had to drop back to do this
We were beaten by a better team that were full of running. Credit to Crawley as we did well to restrict them to 5 goals. Midway through the first half it looked as though Carlisle could hit double figures. Their number 10 chased down everything. A lot of our problems started with our goalkeeper who persisted in playing short passes to defenders who immediately where chased down. Bring back Corey, he makes mistakes but he is our keeper and generally has good distribution. Not afraid to play it long.
We must have a strong reaction when we play Tranmere.
I think what really wound me up yesterday was their left back celebrating at us in the terrace when they’re 5 goals up I mean come on was that really necessary? They conveniently cut that out of the highlights as well.

That pissed me off too. It is provocative and unnecessary to do that when there are plenty of team mates to celebrate with, even if you can't be arsed to run the length of the pitch to celebrate with your own supporters. I gave him a v-sign called out to eff off and celebrate at his own end. I've no problem with players celebrating with each other anywhere on the pitch. In the very dark days way back when there were far more crowd disturbances, some called for players to be punished for that, but I don't think anything came of it. He could take a decent corner though - I'll give him that.
If someone had thrown an item at him the media would have had a right go at us, and rightly so. But players must remember they have a responsibility too.
