Trying to follow in Twitter. I found it very disappointing. Still Jed Brown is with us till the end of the season. From Twitter coverage appeared to be a lack of questions, or even answers to questions sent in.
Lets hope the video turns up something better
lol, you have got no chance! The Video will be cut, sabotaged & tainted. What a waste of space that meeting was.

Hopefully someone who was there can get the chance to update us more fully when they get out of there.
I liked the sound bite comments at the beginning of the twitter feed from the panel but as someone just said there was then a long gap of nothing before the update was that it had finished. Eh?
I rate Tom Allman and wonder why he would sit quietly through that shit if it was just an exercise in avoiding the big questions.
Anyway wasn’t there so what the fook do I know about what actually went on?

Yes let's hope the video gives more information, including the actual questions that are being asked rather than just answers. Also expect the answers are longer than what was put on twitter.
I went tonight - I wouldn’t expect there’s a need for any editing of the video.
Preston was fairly open in his answers (except the financial side, which is still a worry for me - he could have given some general answers without any specifics). It’s clear WAGMI totally underestimated the level of the task last year and Preston said they’ve concentrated on working on the playing and back room side of things rather than the internet aspects they publicised when they took over.
On the recruiting side of things, Preston was asked about bids for players in January. He didn’t name names but implied we had bids for one or more player and said realistically, they have to be practical and if they have a high bid for a player, they would have to consider it. The fact that we didn’t lose any of our main players is a positive sign for me.
As for players incoming in January, and why we didn’t get someone in earlier, Preston said we were after a couple of forwards earlier in January, but were out-bid by other clubs. Two opportunities arose at the end of the transfer window, one the night before and one on the final day, but both fell through. He didn’t rule out a free agent still coming in, but to me, there’s a reason people are free agents, and the longer they aren’t playing, the longer it’ll take to get up to speed if they do join.
There were questions from the floor after the pre-prepared questions were answered. The point about the possibility of buying the ground was discussed further.
Overall, I know it’s been said the club had to hold the event, but Preston came across as genuine to me (I sure some will disagree) and passionate about wanting to succeed.
The Only Question we want answering is 'ARE PRESTON & EBEN BOTH STEPPING DOWN IF WE DONT GET PROMOTED THIS SEASON AS STATED WHEN THEY TOOK OVER'?
I could be wrong, but my recollection when they took over, was that Preston and Eben said they would give people the ability to vote them out, rather than they would step down, which is not quite the same thing. Tonight, Preston confirmed they would still do that. It was a little unclear whether they would want to continue, given how hard they’ve found it and some of the online comments they received, but I came away with the impression Preston feels we would still like to continue.

Appreciate that update.
Sounds like Preston was at least trying to be honest about the situation at the club.

Thank you for the update, I also share the financial worry. Hopefully one for the CTSA to ask. Apparently they have a meeting with the board and chairmen soon?

I was there too and this is a very good summary. Preston was very nervous at the start but the questions had been carefully chosen and he did very well. I got the impression he was expecting a hard time.
He didn't answer any questions about the financial of the club, despite being given a number of opportunities to simply say something along the lines of "it's fine" or "there are no concerns".
He also didn't comment on next season - he wouldn't confirm or deny if Wagmi would still be around, he didn't comment on whether the club could or would be sold.
He came across as resigned to not being here next season. He kept expressing it in terms such as "this might be my last live game tomorrow" "I may only be here for another two and a half months".
I was concerned that he said any negotiations for out of contract players would commence at the end of the season.
He did confirm that there would be a vote at the end of the season to see if he and Eben would carry on and confirmed ghat this would be limited to NFT and season ticket holders only.
He also confirmed that if they are still here the aim would be automatic promotion.
He said ticket prices for next season would be decided at the end of the season.
