Its highly possible of the 7 teams who can currently exceed our current points total that one of them does indeed win their last 2 or 3 games.
I think I agree with 57away that we need 2 wins from our remaining games which would then only leave Doncaster who could still exceed our points total and Walsall who could match it if either win their last 3 games.
Us only getting 4 points leaves Bradford and Gillingham also able to get the same points as us.
Presently our goal difference is superior to all of the 7 potential spoilers except Wimbledon which bodes well.
So all in all a massive game tonight and lets hope we improve on Saturday and send the Barrow boys home with their tails between their legs..
At times the players have a really lackadaisical approach to matches, like they have all day/night to get the desired result. I've seen more urgency in a sloth. Can you imagine Steve Evans tolerating that?
One minute left on the clock last night. We're attacking, we have a throw in. Lolos goes to take it, Wright yells at him to leave it so he can take it. Then he spends ages just standing there pointing at players and not actually taking the ruddy throw! It's beyond frustrating.
Our build up play is ponderous, slow, sideways, anything but attacking. Forster can run so most of our attacks are down to him. Adayemo did well last night too, at least he gets forward. But when we do get a ball into the box, there's not always someone there. We need more mobile forwards, we need taller players up front as well as at the back. Our midfield and defence need to speed up and ditch this slow sideways bollocks that they are obviously being told to do. Sometimes it's like Betsy has snuck back in to the Broadfield and taken over the coaching.
All L2 teams have sussed us out, how to play us, how to nullify us. SL has said as much. But we've made no reaction to it. I can't work out why. Despite everything we somehow still have a chance of the play offs. Thank god our next game is away, we might actually put in a performance. Hoping we smash Sutton - we certainly owe them after last season's horror show at theirs - and then remember we are allowed to play well at home too.
In the post match interview, Scott and Orsi were both asked about pressure and they both said it does not affect them because we are very calm. No-one expected us to be where we are so no pressure. I think that may be part of the problem. Some times we are so laid back and calm, we look asleep like we did in the first half of both the last two home games!

EXACTLY! A bit of stage fright might do them some good!

Just because they weren't expecting to make the play offs, it shouldn't mean play like their already on holiday, and yay if we make it, no worries if we don't. Our esteemed owners set a target of promotion in their second season, and somehow it's still a possibility. Time for the team to wake up and play like we all know they can.
