I know Cory Addai has made some great saves and helped us stay in games on a number of occasions, but on the other side of the coin he makes to many stupid mistakes and this is something you don't see to many opposition goalkeepers make at our place which loses us to many games and he should be replaced for next season
It was huge for them to equalise so soon after the start of the second half. We needed to be solid at the start.
A very scrappy goal that shouldn’t have been, for the simple reason that it should have been a foul (as SL said) for a head high kick against Nick T just before the shot.
I believe we lost the 3 points mainly because they made us play long and didn’t let us play our normal passing game, which I don’t think they’d have been able to handle ultimately.
Lost opportunity but incredibly we're still in it because of other results.

He certainly needs another experienced keeper at the club to keep him on the top of his game. He improved a lot after losing his place earlier in the season, but has not had anyone experienced to challenge him since January.
I knew Wilĺiams' error was poor, but seeing it on TV made it look even worse Ouch! Incredibly, we still have some kind of small chance of a play off spot, but that is hope rather than expectation.
I did think Sutton was a strange ground. Their seated stand was a long way from the pitch, and had people standing along a fence in front of it. Also no proper home end with only so small covered stands and two open terraces.
The best stand by far was actually the away stand! I would have used the away stand for home supporters and had the away supporters in the small covered terrace opposite the seats. However, not complaining as they had an away fans zone too, something we need at Crawley. Something which I am sure would help beer sales at Crawley.

Agree sooty, I did enjoy the away day (apart from the result) but that was one bloody weird ground.
As you say, the bloke next to me said why have we got what looks like the best part of the stadium as away fans??
I also thought the pitch was awful you could see the ball bobbling quite a bit which wasn’t so good for us as a passing on the pitch team.
You can see though that they are very much a community club who make an effort to engage with their fans and I’d hate to be in their position about to go down next Saturday.

Yes I am often a critic of Cory who has a mistake in him most games but on this occasion I would lay the blame solely on Williams

I have to agree with most of that. The acoustics are so much better for the away fans and you are closer to the action. Hopefully it will get changed next season after the summer ground improvement’s.

They are already set up for non-league with their mickey mouse ground. At least Will benefitted from the long run up form that awful stand. I thought away facilities were reasonable, shame someone decided to smash the Gents toilet up punching the walls in.
A very frantic game and to be honest not a great spectacle in footballing terms as Sutton really are a team of brute force giants who play in a very direct manner to say the least!
First goal for Sutton a strange one, massive deflection off Williams which if it hadn’t gone in I’m guessing would have been a penalty anyway as it clearly hit his hand.
Second goal Williams miscontrolled a straight forward roll out which allowed them in to score
So in different ways two disappointing goals to concede, these probably overshadow the fact that had our finishing been better the game would have been out of sight anyway as we contrived to miss a number of very good opportunities
It was always going to be a feisty and frantic affair with what was at stake for both sides and despite the lack of quality I don’t think you could question the desire of both teams to try and win it for the two different end goals.
For me personally I have mixed emotions at the recent form and where we stand.
There seems to be a fair amount of criticism saying we have blown it and while I understand the frustration given the position we have got ourselves in for the final few weeks, me personally I don’t want to be too critical. It’s almost a half glass empty approach some I feel are showing, Overall the season has been a great success and going into the final game of the season in the play off positions and still a chance of making the play offs is amazing from where we have come from nearly getting relagated at this time last year. Even if we finish 8/9th that is still a very good season, if we finish in the play offs amazing and if we won the play offs and got promoted it’s an incredible achievement,
