A couple of local teams have also been trying to get into the playoffs.
There Bridges have made it in the Isthmian South East playoffs, and are guaranteed to finish 4th or 5th so will be away in the semi-final to Sittingbourne, Cray Valley Paper Mills or Ramsgate depending on final positions.
Horsham are currently 5th in Isthmian Premier, and need 1 point from their last two games to make it. If they do they will play Chatham, Enfield Town or Wingate & Finchley. Depending on results could be home or away in semi final.
Horsham have also reached the Sussex Senior Cup Final at the Amex, a match I am going to.
Got my tickets for the Chatham Horsham game, this Wednesday Much easier than for Crawley, and I am Crawley Season Ticket Holder! Believe Chatham are one of Scott's old clubs.
Can't go to the final if Horsham get there as clashes with Crawley's home game with MK Don's, so thought would go to this game instead.
Well done to Three Bridges with our former academy player Brannon O'Neill
Unlucky for Ramsgate who finished 20 points ahead of Chichester and lost to them in the play offs.
Your second point always been something I don't like about the playoffs. It is okay if they are close but if they are not...
But presumably nobody on here will complain if the team that finished as low as 7th in League 2 this season gets promoted ahead of the team that finished 4th 😉

No of course we wouldn't complain if we beat MKD and go to Wembley. But...... it would be unfair on MKD who would miss out despite finishing 8 points ahead of us. That's two wins and two draws they got that ultimately count for shit.
The play offs are hugely unfair on some teams, I don't like them at all - it's all about money, not the football. But they are here to stay so teams have to make the best of it.
Really feel for Ramsgate, 20 points ahead yet miss out on promotion due to one game. Six wins ultimately meaningless. So wrong.

I have to say Sooty that I found it very easy being a STH to get my Crawley ticket....drove into an empty car park then walked into an empty office and handed over my money....about 3 minutes in all.
