Dissappointed we sold Collins but thats life , but the latest two signings make me feel a bit better, however still very worried we have not got anyone yet to score the all important goals we will need.

I don't think the club were expecting/intending to sell Collins, according to the reports the club turned down the initial approaches and it was Collins himself who forced the sale, under those circumstances the club would hardly have been in a position to replace him already and, as I mentioned before, Collins didn't join Crawley until mid July last year
I think we have done well today Cedric is a quality signing and Randall is an enigma he will come good somewhere and right be with us. Just need Murphey to sign now.

I wonder whether Forest Green will be so keen to see him go now they are a League club, they may consider his experience to be useful

Murphey is never good enoygh to promote us. We need a proper proven striker a miracle or some unproven striker come good immediatelay and stay fit and keep the form up all season. Big ask and unlikely.
I think because we had the luxury of a reliable goalscorer, we have started to develop a blinkered outlook, how about we revise our mindset to focus more on a set of attackers who between them - and with regular contributions from midfield - get our goals..? less about a goalscorer and more about a goalscoring unit.
