He may not have actually carried out the physical act of ripping up his contract but he certainly ripped up the tarmac to get out of Crawley, I fail to see why anyone shows any loyalty to Collins as he damned well didn't show any to Crawley
Tubbs left after a season and a half, don't see him being accused of ripping up contracts.
I don't recall MT pushing for a move and coming up with a story about needing to be near his family.

Collins has gone. The club sold him. Same with Tubbs. And Barnett, and Brodie. And McLeod. It's history now. People need to move on. Why they left is irrelevant, they've gone. They play for someone else now. What is important is how much the club got for them, and how well they replaced them. With Collins only one year into a three year deal, it looks like we probably didn't get as much for him as we should have. And the club definitely haven't got a decent replacement in. That's hardly Collins fault is it? If Verheydt gets fit, he could turn out to be a real handful for opposition defences. And if he actually scores some goals for us, who cares if he is a bit overweight? Hopefully Meite and Camara will develop and score some as well. Roberts, Cox and Enzio are not strikers, but know how to score if they are played up front. Our attacking options aren't great, but if HK can get the players to actually shoot when they have a chance (something the previous few managers failed to do) that would be a great help. We need to be supporting the players we currently have, rather than bitching about ones that have left.
Overweight strikers? How about Akinfenwa? I'd have him in our team anyday.
TV has yet to prove himself, let's hope he does. It seems expected now that new players will hit the ground running - the reality is that they often take time to adapt to the new league they are in. Let's hope that TV gets fit and lives up to the promise his employers see in him.
I don't speak Dutch but he is basically explaining to a reporter why he chose to "step down" to league two and Crawley (more money than what he was getting), how the standard is pretty high (I disagree) and how much more physical it is over here (head wounds in three of the first four games. He also talks about ambitions and turning down a possible move to Asia and how he hopes, one day, to play for ado Den Hague (probably the team he supports). He states that he is to have a MRI scan this week and he is physically fitter than he has ever been.
Google translate is good but not trying to read through that was hard work.
