Totally insufficient, I guess you give him some 'respect' for admitting his guilt but three matches is ridiculous, 3 seasons would be more like it
ps The BBC report quotes Kelly Derham as saying "It goes without saying that the club condone any actions which brings our good name into disrepute", I hope the BBC are wrong as usual or Ms Derham is heading for a ban as well
On the fence about this one, glad the individual came forward it saved an FA investigation and fine which the club really doesn’t need. I don’t think he should have had quite a severe punishment as others are saying.should it be longer? Probably.
To play devils advocate here (see what I did there 😉) a player would get a three game ban for violent conduct, why not the same for a supporter? Just a thought...
As he came forward and admitted to the action I would have said a ban to the end of the season would be appropriate.
Three games is just not enough.

Had the empty bottle hit the most Incompetent Referee, ever, the Fan should have been congratulated, awarded a Knighthood and given a free season ticket for life😜

Point taken, but I think there's a slight possibility that any player hitting an official with a water bottle might just get a tad over a three match ban

JTG
Hmmm, so the ref who made the correct decision on the penalty and the sending off is vilified - think JTG is on the gas alright

Yes indeed. For starters, it’s a breach of ground regulations.
I’m happy that the three game ban is punishment enough for this individual. They came forward and admitted their guilt. They have expressed the most sincere apology to club officials and fans alike. They won’t do it again, that’s for sure. In fact, we can all learn a thing or two from this episode. One spur of the moment, impulsive mistake doesn’t necessarily make someone a bad person, a rotten egg. Luckily for this person that certain people have moved on and away from CTFC, with a more sensible and personable board as previous regimes would possibly have not rested until this person had been legally put through the ringer. Well done CTFC, let’s draw a line and move on.
