From where I stood it was a stonewall red card but heard in the ground that the Colchester player wasn't touched...?
10 men for 60 minutes and if you think about it Morris hardly had a save to make.
The first goal was like an arrow into the corner and I doubt any keeper would have saved that. Not so sure Rene has that excuse for the second. I've seen play ten times now and apart from the one straight in his face this season I've yet to see him make a save!
Monumental win, every one a hero - although Morris probably had his quietest ever match for us - but special mention to Poleon who put in a double shift.
Who was it said our best home performances are when we play like the away team..?

Connolly MOM was that a lucky dip draw? Luke puts massive shift on defence and attack and scores two amazing goals! I didnt see that coming but credit to all players in Red that worked very hard. Heard managers interview on radio and dont be surprised if Poleon keeps his place ahead of Palmers availability now. And finally can we stop all this silly talk of relegation. Its riddiculous. There is no way we will be relegated. Impossible!

yes MOM must be between Gambin and Poleon. If Dom keeps his place upon Ollie returning to availability it will be on effort and credit to shift he put in. When fans called for a new striker latevon his legs were still moving and fast. Probably best game he has played in a Crawley shirt. Special mention to Gabby fpr transfotming the Camara as a capable midfielder. Still work to do but id never given thought to playing him there.
Yeah, shocking line-up. Down to ten men for an hour, and took the fight to the team in 4th. Everyone gave 100%, and we won 2-0. No surprise that you've gone quiet.

First half was terrible. Not sure if McNerney deserved a straight red, but it was a yellow at least, he was late and it was a stupid challenge to make. Summed up the first half, defence all over the place, lucky to go in at half time at 0-0. I honestly thought when we were down to 10 it was gonna be one of those days.
Second half was much better, the players really dug in and defended well and carried a threat going forward. Stupid to announce MOM with 10 minutes to go, Gambin was the difference for us today with 2 very well taken goals. Colchester will be very disappointed they didn’t at least score against 10 men for over an hour, but we dug in and it was our day today.
Re Gilmartin, not sure in all seriousness if he could or should’ve saved either goals, both well taken. Although I don’t think he actually saved anything!
Have to agree with all the above, Excellent fighting performance special mention to Sesay at the back looks a really good find Roll on Cheltenham Saturday more of the same please. U Reds !!

Lots positives we rode some luck but all teams do. Thats an amazing two games on trot no goals conceeded. We look shaky and all over place at the back at times but we also defended in heroic ways too, with several fantastic blocks, grafted, a real shift put in and finally any mad thoughts of relegation can be silenced. Poleon gets better the more you play him. Yes there are positives. We won with ten men scoring two cracking goals. Roll on Saturday. COYR.

Bit harsh - Cioffi is talking non stop about transfer window because he doesn’t feel his current options are good enough. One brilliant battling performance doesn’t trump what has happened over the past 10 games surely
