I absolutely agree with DB Newtport is a horrible place to go to, in fact his description of "horrible" I thought DB was holding back a bit there! Amazing that at 40 the oldest player in the league can still compete at this level. I can imagine a testimonial in the future could bring a very large crowd out for DB.
Oh and thanks for missing out every single question that people on here asked you to ask DB! Obviously this forum ranks well below twittery and faceblock!

Hi RRR, first of all thanks for listening! We very much appreciate it.
Secondly, if you listened right to the end of the podcast, you would have heard a message to you personally, including the reason why we didn't get to ask a lot of questions, including yours, and a future promise just for you too.
We love using all forms of social media and fan outlets. From the data we can see we get a great number of listens directly from the forum, hence why we always post episodes and questions on here as we do other channels.
Again, thanks for listening, and look forward to your feedback on future episodes, it's all extremely welcome.
Just listened to episode 7, very good as always. For a future episode what about something about the pitch, what work is done etc.
If you liked Episode 7 Allan, you should try Episode 8, even better we think!
Yeah good shout regards the pitch, we could definitely speak to Ben the groundsman at the end of the season/off-season as they're getting it prepared for the next campaign!

ok I acknowledge your acknowledgement and the responses on this forum were too late to include, but the first (Admin-George) contribution was the same day and mine the next day. So can you perhaps ask the questions here sooner in future and yes I stopped listening just before the mention (but now have listened to the whole podcast) thanks for the making and covering so many important issues.

Thanks RRR, yep quite simply we asked too late. We only got final confirmation we were speaking to Danny at the last minute so tried our best, but will always endeavour to get the info out asap. Thanks for the kind words, we try to cover as much as possible whilst at the same time not making it too long a podcast. An hour seems to be working. If there's topics people want us to discuss in more depth or people you'd like us to speak we'd love to know.

I was away over the holidays but am now working my way through episode 8. Too much for a single session. As far as the pitch is concerned I was interested in the ongoing maintenance as well as work in the off season.
Thanks for the link. It works well on an i pad. I enjoyed the podcast keep it up. I do not agree with Crawley level being mid to top in league 2. For me i would like to see Crawley town competing for a number of seasons in league one.this would give us the opportunity to play some really big clubs and build up the fanbase, without always looking over our shoulder with the thoughts of dropping out of the league. Another point is that i much prefer the idea of signing unknown promising young players and watch their development into hopefully top class players rather than calling on the owner to spend a lot of his money on established stars. To build up the fan base we could also do with some good cup runs.
