signs a deal with Notts County after his loan finishes - i found it funny how the club thanked him for his service - i can only assume he made a cracking cup of tea

For a second I thought that snake had signed for us!
Yeah cheers Rob, thanks for the one game and almost breaking one of our players legs. Cheers mate!
I think he was out of contract on December 31st, so probably not. We had him on a short-term deal and loaned him out pretty sharpish. Wonder which brainiac at the club was behind this signing?

I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that this was a Harry Kewell signing.
From the Notts forum their supporters are not to pleased that they have signed him most are hoping that its only for 6 months. I think we must be pleased that we dodged that bullet.

So probably got a few bob for him included in the Kewell to Notts deal

I'd suggest we were just pleased to have him off the balance sheet...!
While I only saw him in the one home game where he didn't exactly shine I saw him in the friendly against Charlton and thought he looked the standout player.

thanks and i dont think anyone thought otherwise only a fool like HK would see anything in a player not up to league two std

exactly foljs its that time of the season. Season over we arent going down cut the cloth.
Or maybe, just maybe (and this is a crazy idea I know for someone like you to wrap their head round), but they might just be freeing up budget to either avoid playing wages to someone that's surplus to requirements or to allow us to bring in other players...!
You'd be the first to complain if we had someone on the payroll that wasn't playing regularly. What's your problem with attempting to introduce some basic financial prudence...?
Or maybe, just maybe, you just like to warp the facts to suit a biased point of view.
