I sincerely hope that he or she will be back on Saturday. A resolution was found that suited all parties and I can only imagine the turmoil the bottle lobber has been going through since. If there is one fan guaranteed not to cross the line at a Crawley game now it is him or her
If football doesn't ignite passion then find a new hobby. There is no question that what happened was unacceptable but undoubtedly it was borne from real dismay and disbelief at the referee's apparent - in my view at least - ineptitude and loss of control
I think it is time to get over this incident and move on. We don't need to create scapegoats or parihas; what's done is done, the perpetrator did the honourable thing, justice has been served
None of us want to see a repeat of this at any football match, and especially one of ours, but there is no need to ostracise one of us that really seems to be engaged yet had a lapse of sense and personal conduct.
Keep it in proportion, live and learn, move on, unite behind the team and make the Broadfield somewhere that is hostile (in the right way) as we seem incapable of getting much traction anywhere else🙄
I think we'll win this one, which would make a change against them. Interesting take from one of their fans on another forum -
No idea on the result hopefully it will be a kind away day again but will be tricky as Crawley despite losing on the day were one of the best to come to VP just couldn't hit a barn door like us!
the weather will be cold, bright with a slight breeze.
Members of the general public, crammed in to watch the rise of The Red Devils will be delighted with the performance,. 2981 people will witness the thrashing of our Northern visitors.
