He has to go. Basically had a season in charge. We are certainly worse than when he took charge. i haven't seen any encouraging signs in our play, i couldn't tell you our structure or style. I even think its become noticeable the players aren't playing for him. He's fallen out with to many players Vincelot and Moralis to name two.
I am sure it would be a huge mistake allowing him to start next year. it will waste another season. The argument that they are not his players is ridiculous given how far back we have gone this year.
Two final points don't bank The manager being able to attract players. He has no reputation and Vincelot and Moralis are very well respected and connected pros at this level who's opinion counts.

Personally i would put Moralis in charge.
i agree with a lot you say but is there any evidence he has fallen out with those two players? I also think the owners will stick with him as they are the ones really at fault here.
If we lose at Morecambe then he should fall on his sword because if he is still manager next season we are certain relegation fodder. He just does not know how to get the players fired up or if he does they forget it when they cross the line to start a game. As I have said before he has a far better squad than Kewell had last year so heaven knows where we would be if he had last years squad. The guy seems to of lost it big time.

Im not impressed with Gabby far from it BUT the owners seem to be i love with him no indications of removing him in fact can the club afford financially to pay him off after offering such a ridiculous long contract. Surely thats why Brewster was brought in to try and steady the ship. This ship Crawley is not sinking its just sailing through some choppy waters. Win lose or draw at Morecambe rest assured nothing changes we aint going down and we aint gonna remove the manager. Its not like we aint gonna win again between now and the end of the season after all!
RR&R you say "its not like we aren't going to win again between now and the end of season" well if you had seen the last two performances I bet you would not put any money on a win happening. lets face it its cheaper to pay Gabby off with £100k than be relegated and have to spend a million and a half to get out of nonleague. He has to go if we fail at Morecambe.

totally agree relegation more costly it would end the club and would never return to league two BUT that wont happen this season as we cannot get relegated it wont happen we will not lose all remaining games we are too good for that and our inconsistency will.always yield a few points hete and there.

I'm all for giving a manager time to build a team, stamp his mark on the team blah blah but his record this season makes for grim reading. IMHO, I do not think we will get relegated (and God forbid we do) but every season in all divisions, some teams near the bottom of their leagues start putting in seismic performances and pull off a so called Great Escape. We could be 21st come 5pm tomorrow if results go against us. Up until recently, I was thinking lets just get this season out the way and let Cioffi have a pre-season, and start a fresh for August. But the Crewe result done it for me, I think that perhaps we do need to out him. He's a nice guy, very engaging blah blah but football is a ruthless business.
Our league record under him is Played 32 Won 9 Drawn 6 Lost 17 For 31 Against 48

Westandman, 32 games 33 points, respectfully IMHO you have not made a compelling case for either option.
No-one knows for certain, but at this stage, aren't there just as many risks involved in replacing a manager as retaining one...?
As we are unlikely to be relegated I can't see the point of a change now. However over the course of a season a point a game won't get you very far so hopefully someone at Crawley is thinking about what changes are needed in the summer.
