I agree,Macclesfield is most definitely a must not lose fixture. A draw would keep a reasonable gap between us....but I really would like to see us win this one.
Our early/mid season home form has really helped to save us this year.I dread to think how the table would be looking right now had we not had so many dominant home displays. Let’s just keep picking up points here and there, then hopefully kick on next season.

disagree re macclesfield if we win draw or lose nothing changes, we will pick up points here and there and more than the relegated two teams. Our inconsistency can be our weakness and our strength.

Our inconsistency can be our strength......ok 🤭
yes we get results arguably unexpected and lose other we should win.
I half am hoping we get relegated! It would clear the club of all the plastic fans that have come about since promotion into the football league.
I miss the town mead days.
What planet are you on?
In my opinion we haven't got any plastic fans (although you could argue about the thousands we took to Old Trafford in the FA Cup) in fact we haven't got many fans at all (a current topic in another thread)

All what plastic fans? We could still generate a crowd of 4500 in the Southern League, many of those probably felt a bit plasticky, who cares what they are made of, Wigan used to get 2000 ish in non league days and they have built on it as have AFC Kingston and I am sure lots of those are fairly plasticky. The Carrier Bags at times couldn't fill Withdean but now are getting 25000+ and not all of those are diehards from the Goldstone days (in fact they have some who used to be season ticket holders at Broadfield).
Oh for that mud heap of a pitch, unuseable grass bank in the 1980s...…… I have happy memories of Town Meadow days, but a million other crappy memories of standing there with 200 others in the 1970s with rubbish facilities. Town Meadow was all about Location, Location,Location and not much else.
Well, the current bottom 9 all have 13 games left. Surprise result for Morecambe tonight, and (for us) a welcome Notts County defeat. As you can see, lots of games against each other coming up for those currently below us, or against promotion hopefuls. Saturday for us is a MUST NOT LOSE! My current prediction for us - 16th and safe on 49 points.
A word of thanks BOTN for providing these great reality check regular updates, to save the likes of me from having to get my brain to do the heavy lifting. Which becomes particularly strenuous at this stage of proceedings, when "games remaining" becomes an important part of the equation.
Saturday really is a must not lose fixture,so very important not to allow Macclesfield to gain significant ground on us. I hope there’s a decent crowd too with plenty of noise.
I’ve opted for the west stand for this one.The Bruce Winfield is too quiet for me these days!!! 😳
