I confess I forgot about this but thanks for posting it Simon.
Re: Pre-season friendly planning is well underway. Cioffi will be deciding which kind of opposition he would like to face. - As Ive said before it would be great to have a touring team play is at the Broadfield perhaps an Italian Giant? Or realistically Dundee or a Scots team doing a south of the south of the border tour. The Chelski youths, Millwall reserves get a bit tedious each pre-season.
Season ticket planning for next season will be begin in February. The club is seeking ideas from supporters on what benefits could be offered to season ticket holders next season. Don’t forget to take advantage of the 2 free tickets you are entitled to as a season ticket holder before the end of the season. - why not introduce new categories like a student pricing on production of NUS card, match day, even season and block tickets
The food outlets are being reviewed and supporters will be consulted on what type of new foods they would like to see being sold in and around the ground. - Lettuce? (You may have needed to have watch question time last night to understand that)
Would it not be possible to use the food outlet under the West stand to just serve just drinks and wrapped snacks (crisps etc) this would help relieve the long queues in the South stand outlet.
Good to see the Companies house issue is at least being dealt with still. As for attendance I honestly think the quality of football is a major factor. As well as a lot of people simply watching games in the pub or going to watch the prem not sure how that could change. RE: the training ground I thought this was no longer an issue as we secured a site at the local school? (Worth I think?)

This! Surely it would only take one or two members of staff to run this.
Also there is no question the price of food has crept up too much in recent years with every change of contractor, five pound for a hot dog? Just make sure the contractor doesn’t regularly run out of the more affordable items like pies would help also
Gotta say thanks to Steve, Sam & all those who make this happen and also to owners, who are at least prepared to engage with fans, even if it gets a spot uncomfortable for them at times.

its a bit of an OG pushing food prices too high fans will eat before arriving bring flasks and so on. I thought at one stage we had the chreapest cuppa tea in the league?

in regards to the price of food and drink you know it is well overpriced when you can get a similar offering at the Airport cheaper than at the ground
Hot dog and a tea/coffee is about £7.00 at the ground you can get a sausage bagette at the airport with a tea or coffee for £5.95 and the airport truly is a closed market
I hope the club go back to doing their own food and price it competitively that way i will be more inclined to spend my hard earned rather than either go elsewhere or eat at home

silly prices in the long run it just puts fans off - yes please anything to bring some sensible pricing in has to be a good thing.

The problem the club have always had with this approach is that by definition you'll always have on average 2 weeks between home games. This means that you have to either order very precisely and leave no waste (notoriously difficult to do, you'll usually end up running out and pissing people off) or you have to buy in cheap crap like we have done in the past so that it can be easily frozen while we wait for the next home game. (stale burger buns anyone...!)
The reality is that you will end up throwing stuff away and that eats in to the profits. The only way to counter that is to put the prices up...!
The reason the catering is outsourced at present is to guarantee a revenue for the club without exposing them to the challenges of stock management. The people that supply the catering cater for multiple events, so if they don't sell what they have with us on a Saturday, they can always offload it at whatever event they're doing on Sunday.
I think the club are well within their rights to mandate some of the prices. There would surely be other catering providers that would be quite happy to do the job with a slightly lower margin if the incumbents weren't too keen.
Or the club could always reduce their fee, but then I'm not sure that I think they have to.
