It is well known that he is a long-time Oldham Athletic fan (probably why he never smiles), but he could help to generate a spot of added outside interest to Saturdays match - we all know how the media love to curtsey, fawn & shine a spotlight over those "c***s of 92" - as he is being strongly fancied to become their next appointment as Manager.
Take this as a warning, in case you get slyly tripped from behind while in the West Stand on Saturday.
I am sure as he owns the money bags club Salford he won't be allowed to be involved in another club, however like you say Thad he was part of the 92 so who knows
Probably bored, seeing as he doesn't have to spend his time anymore sticking the knife into the Man Utd boss, since they got one of the gang in to do the job...!
It appears that Oldham may not be able to appoint Scholes as manger due to EFL rules as 'a person cannot have interest in two clubs at the same time' i.e he part own National League Salford who are currently 2nd in the National League and could even be playing in the same league as Oldham next season! A substantial conflict of interest!
