Can anyone defend his performance today? Lazy half hearted ineffective poor finishing and apart from the fgr keeper roll 20 yards near end Palmer spent half match diving and on ground. He has to go. No longer intetested and up to it.

Rubbish. I supposed he tore his own shirt as well? The two centre backs were all over him and got nothing from a pathetic referee, McNerney touches Doidge near the end and its a yellow. Yes his finishing was rubbish (as it was from all our team apart from DB shot, much as it has been for months) but he put effort in. We have to find a way to get a result somehow which when we cannot score is going to be tricky, god help us maybe we will have to try Poleon?!!

For a big lad he goes down embarrasingly readily, and thus unconvincingly
The shot he put well wide after Camara's good work was shocking. His first touch is often sublime and his close control is creditable, albeit less so lately
Potential relegation will impact everything, but prior to Christmas droves of us were worried about losing him to another Club; many now, I fear, worry about us struggling to move him on
Wow his not the fastest granted but his a handful and wins so much in the air and links the attack. With the service he gets his done well. Strikers like James Collins do not come by every season not sure who you think we would get as a replacement? Possibly the muggiest thread on a CTFC forum I have seen in 20 years but hey just my opinion.
Well without his goals we would be looking forward to the National League. Worth at least 10 points this season.
Without him and Morris we would be in deep brown stuff.
thats correct but no longer is Palmer the same player. The dive attempt to cheat a penalty than have a strike at goal was pathetic, never conned the ref and quite honestly he couldve been booked for that dive. Losses the ball and he loses interest. Ship him out or at least recognise his attitude is a major problem and give others (not Poleon) a chance.
Both Palmer and Poleon are both on contracts with us for next season - so unless other teams come and take them off our hands they are more than likely to be with us next season - anyway the stadium is named after them - the PP Stadium

Those two p's in a pod are not playing for this great club. Time we do all we can to shift them on anyhow.
