Well the season really is petering out badly now. I can't see Yeovil or Macclesfield making up the ground but 1 more win would help.
I wonder what today's excuse will be - weather, bad luck, ball too round, grass too green, officials - perhaps Selim will be on the phone to the FA now.
We only need Stephen along to tell us we should be tucked up in our cold dark shells as Eren's boys are playing a blinder at Crawley ,and the Saturday night bingo card will be done.
Followed the game on BBC txt. Prior to their goal we took off attacking players ANG & Camara for more defence minded Sessay & Francomb which in my mind was to protect a 0 -0 draw. They then scored which fecked up our game plan.
Another loss away from home and another game without a goal. Fortunately for Cioffi and the lads the other teams are running out of games and if we pick up the odd point or win here and there we should just about be ok. Poor end to the season, certainly another one to forget, it’s just about getting over the line now and staying up so that this season doesn’t turn into a disaster!
Totally gutted we didn't hang on today. An away point would of helped enormously especially with County winning away. ..keep the faith... still believe we will not be relegated and we can rebuild significantly next season..

Glad to see some sense being spoken on here! Earlier in the season we would have edged these games because Palmer was on form and scoring. We just don’t have that many goals in this side and that makes it hard to win games. The manager can only work with what he has.

high time Palmer was dropped. Lacks 100 per cent effort and doesnt really wanna play for ctfc anyway.get rid.

We focus on Palmer when he does not score, but isn't the real issue that the others have not chipped in enough goals between them...?

disagree. Palmer playsfor himself. Just like the other pea in the pod Poleon.
You really think the others have chipped in enough goals between them...?
Poleon only looked the part when Palmer wasn't playing... but i won't ever moan about a lone striker being selfish, it has arguably got us those vital goals & points that we are very grateful for right now...!
We are now in a relegation dog fight, not sure if we have the players or manger to get us out of it? HKP can talk about all the money he likes but none of it will help the predicament we are now in unfortunately? Will he still want to invest if we are non-league next season?

get yourself a reality check...we will be playing league two football next season. We have matches still to play against the likes or cider village and this Crawley Town side is like a Malt Whisky compared to the wineo favourite drop. Granted its not been anything bit a dismall season embarressed outta cups inconsistent in league and nothing to cheer BUT weve preserved our football league status. One day the circus ring master may realise long contracts are for...er clowns!
