We now have only three away matches remaining this season, two to the west, Yeovil and Exeter and our longest trip of the season, north to Carlisle United.
We are taking bookings for these matches now, so if you want to book on please let either me (07771-792346) or Patrick (via Twitter or Facebook) know as soon as possible.
Our Next away game is at another of our fellow strugglers, Yeovil Town on Saturday 13th April, we depart from the stadium at 9.00am and have a lunch stop at the Hunters Lodge Inn. Cost is £20.00 which includes the buffet.
Following on from Yeovil we travel west again to Exeter City on Good Friday 19th April with a 1.00pm kick off - the coach departs the stadium at 7.00am and we have a breakfast stop arranged at the Eagle Tavern on the A303 near Ilminster - the breakfast is not included in the £20.00, so if you want one please let me know so that we can pre-order - the breakfast is £6.00 per person.
Our last away game of this season – we have our second overnight trip to Carlisle United on Saturday 27th April – it’s again an early start 5.30am from the stadium, we will have a couple of breaks on route – at the M6 Toll services, then probably at Lancaster Services before arriving at our buffet stop at Tebay – the Cross Keys Inn, we hope to arrive there for midday. From there to Carlisle is 40 minutes through some of the best British landscape scenery. After the game we travel back the 70 miles to Morecambe and stay at the Clifton Hotel – we should arrive there at about 6.30pm. Then it’s up to you what you do for the rest of the evening – food wise there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel, some of us will go to the Hurly Flyer by the Morecambe stadium, then it’s to the Exchange pub for the “Live” band entertainment – this time, it is “Shotglass” from Blackpool. After an evening of relaxing or whatever you want to do, we depart Sunday morning at 9.30am after breakfast for the trip home, hopefully again back for 3.30pm – and that’s it for away games this season.
If you want to travel for the weekender then please contact us we still have rooms available, cost is £80.00 per person which includes the B & B at the Hotel, Coach Travel and the buffet at the Cross Keys Inn. If you haven’t already please can you pay the £30.00 deposits please –
I will be in Redz on Saturday before the game.
