Final point from me. Did anyone see Jimmy Smith in the directors box? I was sitting in the East stand and my god was he being animated. Shouting and moving like there is no tomorrow
I just want to congrate Camara. You could see at the end of the game how much losing hurt him. He was all over the park, never giving up even when he loses the ball. I hope we keep him next season.
Spot on, his energy & attitude are exemplary. He got further forward in the 2nd half & we looked better for it, but he will get caught out on occasions cos he wins the ball in places where he is isolated. RGC is a pocket dynamo too...!
Morais doesn’t play with his head, he seems to be trying too hard to be the hero, constantly shooting from range, trying to take on players and over complicating things, needs to be more of a team player.
Palmer- Yes he was constantly being could and it must be frustrating, but he’s got to stop sulking and just get on with it, don’t give up when you lose the ball, just look at Bulman who’s the opposite.
Blimey Alex, you summed that up with perception & accuracy. There is something very wrong when youngsters like Pooch & RGC display a better team ethos & application in a dogfight, than seasoned pros like Palmer & Morais (don't get me started on Poleon).
At the final whistle, Dannie stood tall & proud & applauded the fans, he is a model professional & i would like to know what he had to say to some of his teamates - particularly Hollywood Morais - in the changing room...?
Both FGR goals came from us giving them the ball in dangerous positions, they were organised & have a predatory finisher, but in the final analysis we beat ourselves.
Lastly - do we work on set plays? there was a time when we actually got goals from them, something for the critics of Connolly to ponder on.
work on set plays corners i hope NOT as being caught offside from a short balls up was embarressing. Yes Dannie Bullman gives a sh1t and was giving it everything. His goal was testiment of so many things belief hunger desire confidence skill ability and worthy of my entrance fee just to see that ...most of the other cr@p served up by the team was testiment of a team syruggling all over the place. Camara ran his socks off. Morris did ok. Young (& fans here know he is a favourite of mine) had an awful game. Lucky not to be sub'd.
Last comment on this game but I have to say it’s disgraceful booing at the end of the game. Show some respect. I saw the two Cioffi out banners but the impact booing the players has; definitely runs deeper than you think.

From the West Stand, I think you’ll find the boo’s were directed to the Incompetent Referee.

How could the players know that? The referee was definitely biased.
I am often saddened by your posts..non more so than this one...record needs changing...😀😀
You do talk total crap Stephen. Players proud of commitment in getting us relegated??
Still after you goaded everyone to introduce ourselves to you at the Fans Forum only for us to find you struck dumb and then leaving faster than Usain Bolt, most of us have realised that you are a true keyboard warrior.
Pretty obvious that your own record is stuck, despite us steadily getting sucked into a relegation dog fight you still seem you think all is wonderful in the Crawley garden.
To try and help you change the record. There was a very valid reason for me leaving immediately after the forum as there was for me arriving very late...can we move on now without the personal abuse...

fans pay their money they make their choice to clap or boo. What shouldnt be happening is fans allowed in with chelski bade on trousers...manure scarves...falmer village pin badges....barcelona t shirts ....rottenham hats..its Crawley not any of these teams. That shouldnt be allowed in ground entry and is totally disrespectful from the moment these people enter the ground. And no westhamlet shirts too.

Unfortunate you had been winding everyone up for several weeks in advance then?
Anyway do you still think GC is doing a good job at Crawley?
How could the players know that? The referee was definitely biased.
With regards the Incompetent, very biased Referee, people around me were seriously questioning whether he had taken a bribe, he was that poor.
On a parr with Darren Deadman.
JTG
He was very poor and patently one-sided, or simply crap
Maybe he's a veggie or perhaps FGR have encountered him before and they learnt he has a thing for people throwing themselves on the floor and eyeing him up pleadingly.
This may surprise some of you but I generally don’t have a go at the officials these days. They have a tough job, plus they know the laws far better than the experts in the stands, studios etc plus the players and managers. However, yesterday’s referee was very disappointing, how he couldn’t spot the constant attempts by their defenders to reliebe Palmer of his shirt I do not know, plus many other decisions were clearly suggesting a leaning towards the opposition.

The Ref WAS appalling, but we need to accept a sad reality - whether we like it or not - other teams always seem to be much better at exploiting the "black arts" than we are. We're in a proper scrap and need to toughen up...!

the players arent up to it poleon and palmer dont care imho and others arent far behind. Morris...camara..bullman...young they give a sh1t can you say that about any others? Im.not sure some are collecting a wage and not putting in the efforts however in their defence they are disorganised and coached appaulingly badly.
