3,546 in attendance according to the clubs twitter feed. Very good attendance for a pre season friendly if true, obviously the low ticket prices helps a lot as well, but still a good attendance I think.
seen these gimmicks before with reduced entry free tickets etc and do they come back? Sounds like we were embarressed by another team barely out of nappies.

sure thats not other way round? Most the 'home' end no doubt chelski glory hunters. All i hope is the kids didnt take lumps outta Dad's Army and the troops are all injury free.
First half we did ok keeping the ball but didnt really ceeate anything. Harrold was totally anomous. Second half we seemed to struggle to get the ball of Chelsea. There number 10 caused no end of problems. Midway in second rotation of subs began. Camara looked very promising far more effective than Harrold linking and has some good skills. Cox did ok as well.

"Barely out of nappies", you're such a clot, I'd swap the entire 26 man Crawley squad just for Omeruo and then use the £3m+ to buy the best squad in League 2, we could then sell the rest of the Chelsea kiddies to build a new stadium, embarrassed by another team barely out of nappies my backside

Surprised by the attendance given, especially the suggestion that there were 597 in the away end. I guess if you sell tickets at £1 a go some people will change their mind, not bother and forgo their £1. If that had been a league game I'm sure the gate given would have been a lot less.
Main plaudits have to go to marketing team for getting 3,500 along to a nothing practice match. Weird to see the East Stand busier than the Bruce Winfield, buts hats off to the promotional work, promising step forward off the pitch.
On the pitch - a mixed bag.
I liked that we tried to play some passing football and putting Randall in the middle of the back 3 was a surprise but it worked in making us calmer at the back on the ball.
The problem was actually creating goal scoring chances. Enzio and Roberts were reassuringly familiar on the wings and both got stuck in and had good moments. But they were on a different pitch to Matt. He's a smashing bloke and did a massive favour to the owners at the end of the season but there's never been a time here that he's the answer up front. Coaching team or loan move.
Except Evina most of the new players came on late so little real chance to show they can make a difference. Sanoh up front looked odd as he's not much taller than Kaby! Time will tell if Camara can offer a threat. Lot will rely on the big Dutchman who did not feature along with Smith Yorwerth Arthur.
