The 'Relegation' thread has been closed due to Crawley Town now being safe from relegation this season. I don't want the aforementioned to deter forum users from discussing he various relegation/promotions in football in general so I'll begin with..... from League 1 we already have Bradford City down and it would be good if Southend, Wimbledon and Plymouth could join them as all these teams should bring good away support to Crawley next season. Southend is also a more appealing away trip than say Walsall.
We have already lost runaway champions (they won't fail to turn current status promoted to Champions) Lincoln City for next season going up from league two. The remaining automatic spot and play offs are too tight to call. Tranmere Rovers could visit Crawley for the final match either to secure automatic promotion or a play off spot. I think MK Dons will make it up whether thats automatically or via the play offs. League two will I believe lose the current bottom two, that is Notts County (worst recent form in the league) and Yeovil. Macclesfield Town should escape.
Coming up into League two next season Orient would be an obvious 'choice' and arguably likely promoted team and the league will benefit next season from their good away support. Salford would be an interesting one and how the arguably money that has 'bought' them to where they are and whether that would continue.
As for the 'big one' personally I'd love it if Man City failed all round in their attempts to win everything in sight. That said as this is likely to go to the wire, they have a much easier finish at Brighton (or maybe not if Brighton haven't secured their top flight spot by then) than Liverpool playing Wolves.
