I know some of the forum posters don’t use Twitter so I thought I would drop a quick line on here to bring you up to speed.
My Twitter is a locked account for Crawley Town fans only and I recently ran a poll asking what supporters would prefer me to focus on with regards to investment in CTFC.
The overwhelming poll response was that fans wanted me to focus on investing in a New Training Ground facility.
This will be my focus and I will try my best to deliver it.

Thank you for all you've done for Crawley. I think we badly need a new training ground if we are to attract and keep good quality players to sustain and improve our position in the league going forwards. Bigger clubs will be more likely to loan us their youngsters if they can be assured that we have decent facilities to use.
I do not understand why the club cannot come to a deal with the council to train on the all weather 'Tiger Turf' pitch across from the stadium.
It can't have much use during weekday mornings (I've never stood and checked it out) so I would guess the council maybe able to come to a long term use agreement.
Mighty decent of you Paul. Signings can benefit the club for a few seasons, a proper training home for decades. Your twitter followers are a smart bunch

It’s horrendous to train on full time. I remember bumping in to Paul Jones years ago and he said he could barely train on it as it flared his knees up. And that’s a position where running will be limited!
Do you not think that the excellent condition of our pitch means that training sessions could be sensibly spread between the two venues as no grass training area could stand 4 or 5 training sessions a week for a whole season.

Anyone remember "The Mount" Sports & Social out in the wilds of Ifield Wood, Rusper, Charlwood way...? It was very remote but quite a setup in its day.
I am going back a long while & it might be a drive-in take-away by now, does anyone know....?
I believe the Mounts cricket ground has now reverted back to just a field so I don't know if the rest of the set up has gone the same way.
Thank you, i was thinking along the lines that if it is already "zoned" as being for sports/recreational usage, then just might be worth investigating...(?)

Hi Thad - I played for 20 years and was Secretary of The Mount Cricket Club for 10 years, it closed down about 30 years ago when the owner tried to sell the ground as a sports ground without informing us - he failed as it wasn't classified as a sports ground but farmland - we then moved and used Gossops Green playing field behind the Youth Centre for a couple of years before folding - the old ground was by the Gate pub on the Rusper Road which is now a private home - in truth it wouldn't be suitable for the training ground not big enough and tended to hold water in the winter - There were no services at the ground except water - no drainage, electricity or gas - it was pretty basic stuff on match days
