im more p'd by devalued season tickets that used include all psf in the price of season ticket
How many years ago was that now? You're stuck in the past. Don't you want the club to make any money?
In fairness, he is innocent for once... i had referenced Forest & Palace as they are a traditional feature of close season banter... But it was meant to be ironic.
In fairness to the club apart from Bayern Munich, Barcelona etc thats the best we could get and its about time we beat them. We done CTFC, price it sensibly and low and lets fill the ground!

Seems to me that it's a perfectly sensible psf, GC stated quite openly that he wanted a tie up with Brighton so it would be incredibly stupid not to have a fixture against them

Where's the real RR&R and what have you done with him?

Interesting comments from GC today on the club site with the news that the players will be having practice games within the squad
"I prefer it this way than having lots of friendlies. We had many options to play amateur non league teams but in my opinion there is more intensity when the players have a good game amongst themselves. We are gearing up to be ready for Carlisle on August 3 and we will have four games before then for the players to get the minutes they need in friendlies against strong opponents"
If that's his decision and he's getting his own way as manager then I say bloody good

it may minimise injuries against pub teams but alienate fans in East Grinstead! So why dont (or maybe they do) other teams do likewise? If the players know each other then GC approach has limitations preparing for Carlisles less known players?

Is anyone really worried about alienating East Grinstead, Oakwood, Burgess Hill or even Tesco LGBT Sports & Social Club fans? Crawley play these local friendlies each year but do they actually achieve anything? does it increase the CTFC fanbase by even one? If the players in the Carlisle team are of the same quality as East Grinstead then roll on 2019/20 is all I can say and whatever happens at least GC will be taking responsibility for his own decisions

its not in keeping with our west Sussex club image though is it? IM sating players at East Grinstead are more likely to be motivated to give their professional opponents a tough game than what will effectively be a training match kickabout. I am not convinced of Gabbys approach and if it was that good why dont other clubs do this more?
