Interesting to see the joint top scorers in the Conference last season (JJ Hooper and Paul McCallum) are both available for nothing and both SE based.
Edit: scrap that, McCallum has just signed for Solihull.
And Hooper has now signed for Wrexham
Remember when we spent a fortune on the previous seasons top conference scorer??That went well...mind, Hooper was available for zilch....a assume we had a look??

Someone may well be lucky with those two, but if you look at the basic facts since 2015 Hooper has scored 17 L1 & 2 goals in 107 matches while McCallum was released by Orient into non league, they may well improve but there's not a lot to shout about just yet

I suppose the question this evening is when are we going to get someone from Bury? they seem to be leaving in droves at the moment, at least their new manager won't have to worry about whether he's going to make alterations to the squad
On the home front I see from the CTSA Board meeting details that things are still to happen at Broadfield, "Player status was then discussed and it was stated that there will be further movements, both in and out of the club, in the next few weeks", pretty obvious I guess but good to hear nevertheless

I suppose it all depends on what ones we manage to get rid of, and then compare that with what we manage to get in. The squad does still need to be freshened up somewhat.Im just glad it’s still Gabbys responsibility to do just that.Keeping him has already given us a head start from where we could have been. I really liked his interview from Horsham earlier. He sounds very positive, and dare I say it...a little more fluent in the lingo. All good signs.
