Anyone know whats up with the pitch? Looked better last game of the season. ANG has shown some nice touches. Palmer had a soft shot arguably wasted chance. Crawley had a reasonable spell attacking and keeping the ball towards the end of the first half. Glenn nearly gifted Swans a third with a mistake and Swansea lead 2-0 at the break having also struck the post. Biggest cheer when the ref went to ground with a Swan. Looking like lots of changes coming on at HT. My MOM so far is Camara always looks tricky and has won some FK as a result.

Todays attendance 2165 with 419 from Swansea
0-3 already, "a mostly changed Crawley side" is the limit of team news so far
1-3 now with a goal from McNerney after a free kick by Payne who isn't in todays squad, glad to see that the new season has brought the same level of info as always
We started slow and the final ball throughout the first half was off, but after they scored 2, we grew into the game. Thought Canara, Lubala & Nathaniel-George looked good. Second half, Sesay looked nice as wing back attacking threat, although defensively seemed to get caught out of position.Greco-Cox looked lively. Ferguson looked like he could offer something in midfield and Bloomfield had some nice touches, seemed to be playing up top as a Palmer replacement, not sure if that was a one-off or that will be his role this year. Overall, promising, still not convinced by the defence though.
Very enjoyable game in the end, like the darkhorse said I've seen far worse league games than that!
First 20-25 minutes we were awful, Swansea outplayed us and we couldn't string 2 passes together and we were 2-0 down. Then after that we started to play a bit and strung some passes together and finished the half stronger.
Start of the second half we give away another poor goal from a set piece and it's 3-0 and here we go again. The third goal seemed to kick us into life and we played some great stuff, attacked with real purpose and created some good shooting opportunities. Mason Bloomfield looked sharp up front, definitely an upgrade on Palmer and not least Poleon! Joe Mc got a goal back with a header and Morais capitalised on a poor back pass and it was game on at 3-2 and we could have got a draw in the end, but a much more respectable scoreline with a narrow 3-2 defeat.
I saw enough positives in the second half to suggest that we can have a positive season and kick on next year, defence still needs some work and must defend set pieces better, but I think with 2 or 3 decent additions we can be challenging at the right end of table.
