Exciting game for a pre season friendly. The players we have available in the attacking midfield/wing roles all look exciting: Morais, ANG, Lubala, Grego-Cox with Camara and Ferguson in slightly deeper roles but all appearing very quick footed.
We looked so much better second half with a more mobile forward up top. I understand Nadesan is also quite mobile so him and Bloomfield could be a handful this season.
Defence looks the weakest area of the squad at the moment.
Normally not fussed about PSF's but yesterday I actually enjoyed the game. As said by others the 1st half wasn't great for us but the 2nd half team showed a lot more spirit and some of the football we played was most entertaining. From what I saw some of last seasons regulars will be concerned about their place in the starting line up at Carlisle.
I think the defence always has a problem when the front and midfield don't keep hold of the ball, that was evident in the first half hour but once the players started to move and pass and take more care of the ball we didn't really have any defensive problems in the second half.

Think that Tunnicliffe could make a positive difference there in terms of organisation.
Worth also considering that Smithy always did well for us when playing fullback, might be a thought at this stage of his career with so much competition for places in the middle...(?)

I see that Swansea have turned down an offer from Sheff Utd for the guy who scored goal number 3 on saturday, did he look like he was worth an offer of £15m from a PL side?

He was good but I’m not sure he’s worth £15m
Ollie McBernie is the striker in question, who does know where the goal is.
£15m for a proven goal scorer would be a “snip” but, I’m certain Swansea’s valuation will be far higher.
