I was thinking how relieved the supporters of Bolton must be when, and if, they think about how close they came to the same end as Bury, I look forward to the January window to see what Bolton do on the recruitment front, they will obviously be looking to strengthen the squad from what they have now, but just how much cash will they throw around and will they, and other clubs, learn anything at all from the demise of Bury?
About as big a wake up call as you can get! Let's hope that they heed the warning.
Obvious and logical outcome. Other teams that were cheated out of promotion were always going to block this.
I doubt they will get far with the National League so it's the long haul back via the NWCL and so on. Few decent paydays for county league type clubs along the way.
